I once had a lot of orchids.
And now there is little left, well, that's in my understanding.
Somewhere 12 pieces. Counting is not a hunt, next time I will count them :-)
Now I will show you pictures of one of my orchids blooming.
It is difficult for orchids to survive in the climate of Cyprus. Therefore, most orchid lovers have them as disposable flowers.
But I'm trying to help them survive.
Unlike wild orchids, domesticated ones don't live that long.
But some botanical gardens have orchids over 100 years old !!!
And there are collectors whose orchids live up to 20 years.
But, in general, orchids die after 3–6 years.
Since the lifespan also depends on the variety and on the growing conditions in nurseries.
And also your care for this beautiful plant!
