Planting flowers can make the atmosphere cool and provide fresh air. In addition, seeing the flowers that grow can also refresh the mind, from the fatigue of the work done for one week. Using the flowerpots that were lined up, I also planted flowers in my grandmother's yard, where I work.
Incidentally, my grandma and boss both love flowers, so I used our little yard for gardening. There are some plants that I take care of in pots. If summer comes, the flowers are refreshing. Because the temperature in Taiwan can reach 39 degrees Celsius, exceeding Indonesia's heat.
There are some plants that are very popular with grandmother because they smell good. My 100-year-old grandmother really likes flowers, to make the atmosphere of the house more beautiful.
Some of the plants I like are:
Cactus Earrings
The stud fern cactus (Euphorbia milii Ch. des Moulins) is a plant that grows in lowland areas up to 2,300 m above sea level. This stud fern cactus plant is usually used as an ornamental plant in pots, yards and in gardens.
This annual shrub grows upright, closely branched and flowers throughout the year. The stems are faceted, gray-brown in color, rough thorns, sharp, tight and gummy.
The care is also not difficult, because this flower stores water content. So it does not require a lot of water when watering.
Flower Eats Betel
Flowers have a uniqueness. The flowers are white in clusters. However, there are red flowers in the shape of a heart or a sac that looks as if they are releasing small flowers inside. The leaves resemble betel leaves. Many people plant it as an ornamental plant, either in pots or directly in the ground.
Azalea
These flowers are white and pink. I have it in white. But not yet blooming, usually will bloom in spring. The duration of this flower when it blooms is about 7-10 days.
Adenium or Japanese Cambodia
Adenium or often also called the Japanese Cambodian tree is an ornamental plant also known as the Desert rose. Adenium comes from the Aden region in Yemen, its native habitat is the Desert.
Characteristics of adenium, namely: tree trunks are not cambium, and have soft stems. Can be shaped like a bonsai, the stem can be gnarled as it grows in the wild. The roots form tubers and can be created into unique shapes.
