June Garden Journal

There are plants that are just starting their life phase, and there are plants that have already harvested.

How beautiful diversity is. Many types of plants in one garden. In fact, I can't name them one by one.

In this June Garden journal, I will share plants that are important for you to see. With various developments that always amaze me. That's why you also have to see the development of the plants in my organic garden.

Baby Cucumber Type (With Small Size)

I started with my cucumber plants which had entered the fruiting phase. Last month entered the cucumber planting phase and this month has entered one month of age, and the cucumber plants are starting to bear fruit.

That is already cucumber that looks bigger. Well, I planted the same type of cucumber as the cucumber I previously planted in my garden. Baby cucumber with small size.

That is also why this type of cucumber plant has a shorter height compared to cucumber plants in general.

Red Chilies

Continuing with my chili plants which are entering the final phase. After harvesting the red chilies, I will replace the old chili plants with new chili plants.

The chili plants are still giving me lots of fruit even though they are in the final phase of their life, with their leaves showing less and less.

Red Onions

On the other side of my garden, I already have red onion plants which are ready to be harvested in the next few days.

I planted those red onions from cloves. I am happy with good sized red onion bulbs that are similar to the red onion bulbs sold in the market.

Maybe next time I will try to plant red onion plants from the seeds not cloves because the red onion cloves are expensive. Maybe planting red onions from the seeds can save costs many times over even though planting will be more complicated. But I'm ready for a new challenge in my garden.

Pakcoy (The Green Ones)

I have two beds full of green pakchoy. They look good sized and are just plain adorable. They are ready to harvest this week too.

Those pakchoy are also our favorite here. My family, my neighbors, they are all happy to wait for the harvest. Because like before, I will share my harvest. It feels really good to be able to share the results of this harvest.

White Pakchoy (The New Comers)

I have a new arrival in my garden that I planted last month, and I have now harvested it.

Look at those white pakcoy's sexy trunks! And they are very fresh.

How happy I am, I managed to harvest those types of new pakchoy in my garden. They are easy to plant and care for until harvest.

I have distributed those white pakchoy to my neighbors. Then, I asked them, which is better, green pakcoy or white pakchoy? They also say that white pakchoy is tastier, more crunchy in stem texture. 🥰

An Unique Lime Plant

This is not a flower. But a lime type. Usually, this small lime is for coconut drink, and another type of fresh drink.

I bought this plant from a local farmer. A farmer said that the only difference was the color of the leaves and fruit. The taste of lime is the same.

I also tried the orange fruit before I bought the plant. It turned out to be true, the lime fruit was no different from the one I usually use to freshen up coconut drinks.

This plant, apart from being useful for stocking kitchen ingredients, is also useful for beautifying my terrace.

Water Spinach Plants

On the terrace of my house, there is also a water spinach which has been around for several weeks and will be ready to harvest at the end of this month.

Water spinach plants look fresh on the front terrace of my house, using polybags. ❤️

Babies 🥰

To conclude the garden journal, I have a lot of baby plants that I will transplant in a few days. They will replace previous plants that have entered the final phase of life.

Eggplants, red chilies, small chilies, tomatoes, and also cherry tomatoes. So, see you on my next garden update.

Happy gardening!
