🇻🇪 Hola estimados amigos de #Multitopics. Nuevamente participo en el reto de esta semana, con el tema "Arbustos".
Este arbusto floreado y hermoso es bastante popular y lo vemos cin frecuencia en residencias y parques. Los que fotografié se encuentran en la residencia donde vive mi mamá, pero en el lugar donde vivo también están decurando los jardines. Me pareció precioso la forma como están sembrados, primero serpenteante y terminando con un lindo espiral, muy estético, artístico y sobre todo muy divertido.
Su nombre científico es Ixora Coccinea, pero es conocida comunmente como geranio de la jungla, llama de los bosques, coral, Cruz de Malta, coral de México o llama de la jungla, todos estos nombres son fabulosos e increíbles, me encantan por su originalidad. Este bello y llamativo arbusto pertenece a la especie de la familia de las rubiáceas. Leyendo sobre esta colorida planta aprendi que es la flor oficial de la ciudad de Cúcuta, en Colombia.
Es un arbusto bastante pequeño con muchísimas flores que también son pequeñas, ellas firman unos ramilletes redondeados muy bonitos y delicados que se dan casi durante todo el año. Originalmente este arbusto es de Asia, del sur la India para ser exactos. A mi hija pequeña le encantan sus flores, siempre que vamos al jardín recoge las que ya se han caído y me las regala a mi o a su abuela.
