Unas horas más tardes, luego de haber recuperado una parte de Marigny, aún quedaba trabajo por hacer, pero durante la noche no pude dormir para nada gracias a una pesadilla recurrente.
Mientras acompañaba a Zussman que estaba haciendo guardia, le cuento esa pesadilla que nunca para de regresar, va de que mi hermano y yo estábamos casando lobos porque no paraban de matar reses, pero en medio de la cacería nos lograron acorralar.
Pero por la presión y el miedo del momento no pude hacer nada para ayudarlo, mientras él luchaba por su vida, pero logró matar al lobo con un cuchillo y luego calmarme, pero desde ese día juré no volver a defraudar y ahora también a Pearson.
Al amanecer estábamos tomando Marigny y nuestro objetivo es proporcionar fuego de apoyo desde la torre de una iglesia cercana, cosa que fue muy difícil de llegar, ya que nuestros enemigos no nos dejó el camino muy fácil que digamos.
Cuando logramos llegar a la cima de la torre, mi objetivo era darle apoyo al equipo de Zussman con un rifle de francotirador, mientras que los demás intentaban acabar.
Todo mientras no paraban de llegar enemigos y orugas, como también francotiradores por todos lados.
Pero cuando todo estaba yendo bien, de la nada empezaron a atacar nuestra posición, así que tuvimos que salir corriendo y bajar lo más rápido posible, porque toda la torre se estaba cayendo a pedazos donde logramos salir vivos por puro milagro, pero por desgracia en el proceso 2 hombres murieron.
Y tuvimos que atrincherarnos en la entrada de la iglesia mientras esperábamos a que llegasen los bombarderos, lo cual fue una tortura, pero cuando llegaron no nos percatamos de que estábamos en medio y por poco nos volvemos a morir, pero gracias a Dios que las bombas no alcanzó a ninguno de nuestros aliados ni a nosotros.
Logramos capturar Marigny y por lo menos felicita nuestro superior por lo que logramos conseguir, aunque Pearson no estaba del todo contento jaja.
Aunque le entregásemos la cabeza de Hitler en bandeja de plata, talvez hasta se quejaría del brillo jajajaja, pero lo importante es que logramos avanzar y que ahora no solo eso, estamos en la mira de Pearson.
Y así termina el capítulo del día de hoy, espero que les haya gustado, les invito a comentar que les pareció, les mando un abrazo a todos y nos vemos en el próximo capítulo.

A few hours later, after having recovered a part of Marigny, there was still work to be done. However, during the night, I couldn't sleep at all due to a recurring nightmare.
While accompanying Zussman on guard duty, I tell him about that recurring nightmare that never stops coming back. It's about my brother and me hunting wolves because they wouldn't stop killing cattle, but in the midst of the hunt, they managed to corner us.
Under the pressure and fear of the moment, I couldn't do anything to help him while he fought for his life. However, he managed to kill the wolf with a knife and then calm me down. Since that day, I vowed never to disappoint again, now also to Pearson.
At dawn, we were taking Marigny, and our objective is to provide support fire from the tower of a nearby church, which was very difficult to reach because our enemies didn't make the path easy for us, to say the least.
When we managed to reach the top of the tower, my goal was to provide support to Zussman's team with a sniper rifle, while the others tried to finish the mission. All this while enemies and tanks kept coming, as well as snipers from all directions.
But just when everything was going well, out of nowhere, they started attacking our position. So, we had to run out and descend as quickly as possible because the entire tower was falling apart. We miraculously managed to escape alive, but unfortunately, in the process, two men lost their lives.
And we had to entrench ourselves at the entrance of the church while we waited for the bombers to arrive, which was torture. But when they finally came, we didn't realize we were in the middle, and we almost died again. Thankfully, none of our allies or we were hit by the bombs, thanks be to God.
We managed to capture Marigny, and at least our superior congratulated us for what we achieved, although Pearson wasn't entirely pleased, haha. Even if we handed him Hitler's head on a silver platter, he might complain about the shine, hahaha. But the important thing is that we made progress, and now, not only that, but we're also on Pearson's radar.
