Hello everyone!

Well, 2 days without posting, personally I find it quite a lot haha. For those of you who have been reading my last few posts you will know that I have had a few problems at home and my family has been quite sick and delicate with health issues. Maybe I'll do an upcoming post doing a little update soon, but for now, I'd like to get out of the bad news and bring something different.

Added to this situation, my internet provider has been having a lot of failures and it has been impossible to play an online game comfortably, I haven't even been able to connect on Discord to talk to my friends.

This time we decided to play Bloons TD 6 for a moment, a game that I tried a long time ago with @jotaunive and we decided to play it. In order to download it we had to use his mobile connection, which incredibly managed to download it in just a couple of minutes, I wish I had that speed of internet infinitely haha.

For those who don't know what game Bloons TD 6 is, it's basically a Tower Defense, a genre of game that was quite famous at the time because of the simplicity and how easy it was to distract yourself playing something where you don't stress, you just draw a small plan that escalates over time.

In Bloons TD 6 we simply have to place some overalls or tools that will give us different benefits throughout the game. Each unit has different branches that we can improve to obtain different benefits depending on the branch we chose.

Our mission is simple: Use the units that best suit us to prevent the balloons (our enemies) from entering our base. For each balloon that enters our base, we will lose x amount of life.

This videogame formula was used for a long time and recreated in a lot of different ways, but at least for me, the most memorable was and still is the Bloons TD saga. In the past I used to play a lot a game called Bloons TD Battles on the phone and the hours of fun I had in that game were unforgettable.

I have to admit that I'm a bit disappointed with how the co-op mode works in this game. When we started playing, we noticed that the games were a bit slow, as if we had lag.

To my surprise, I noticed that it is impossible to create LAN games. All co-op games are hosted on the game servers and it is impossible to play via local connection. Because of this, most of the game we were receiving a reconnection message because our internet is terribly slow, and it is impossible to play cooperatively because the game was getting out of sync at every moment or simply prevented us from being able to play.

After that we simply preferred to play each one in a solo game because the co-op experience was a nightmare. In most single player games we were simply trying out the new maps (because yes, they have added new maps in the latest versions) and I also took the opportunity to earn a few Monars (the in-game currency).

I will most likely keep playing this game these days because with the internet like this, I need to play something offline to keep me distracted. I hope you are well, and please take care of yourselves.

Bueno, 2 días sin publicar, personalmente me parece bastante haha. Para los que han estado leyendo mis últimas publicaciones sabrán que he tenido unos cuantos problemas en mi hogar y mi familia ha estado bastante enferma y delicada de temas de salud. Tal vez haga un próximo post haciendo una pequeña actualización pronto, pero por ahora, me gustaría salir de las malas noticias y traer algo diferente.

Sumado a esta situación, mi proveedor de internet ha estado teniendo un montón de fallas y ha sido imposible jugar un juego online de forma cómoda, ni siquiera he podido conectarme en Discord para hablar con mis amigos.

En esta ocasión decidimos jugar un momento Bloons TD 6, un juego que probé hace muchísimo tiempo junto a @jotaunive y decidimos jugarlo. Para poder descargarlo tuvimos que utilizar su conexión móvil, que increíblemente logró descargarlo en solo un par de minutos, ojalá tener esa velocidad de internet de forma infinita haha.

Para los que no sepan qué juego es Bloons TD 6, es básicamente un Tower Defense, un género de juego que fue bastante famoso en su momento por la simplicidad y lo fácil que era distraerse jugando algo donde no te estresas, solo trazas un pequeño plan que va escalando con el paso del tiempo.

En Bloons TD 6 simplemente tenemos que colocar unos monos o herramientas que nos darán distintos beneficios a lo largo de la partida. Cada unidad tiene distintas ramas que podemos mejorar para obtener distintos beneficios dependiendo de la rama que escogimos.

Nuestra misión es simple: Usar las unidades que mejor nos convengan para evitar que los globos (nuestros enemigos) entren a nuestra base. Por cada globo que entre a nuestra base, perderemos x cantidad de vida.

Esta fórmula de videojuegos fue utilizada por muchísimo tiempo y recreada de un montón de formas distintas, pero al menos para mí, la más memorable fue y sigue siendo la saga Bloons TD. Anteriormente solía jugar muchísimo un juego llamado Bloons TD Battles en teléfono y las horas de diversión que tenía en ese juego fueron inolvidables.

Tengo que admitir que estoy algo decepcionado por cómo funciona el modo cooperativo en este juego. Cuando comenzamos a jugar, notamos que las partidas estaban algo lentas, como si tuviéramos lag.

Para mi sorpresa, noté que es imposible crear partidas LAN. Todas las partidas cooperativas están alojadas en los servidores del juego y es imposible jugar mediante conexión local. Debido a esto, la mayor parte de la partida estuvimos recibiendo un mensaje de reconexión porque nuestro internet está terriblemente lento, y es imposible jugar cooperativo porque el juego se desincronizaba a cada momento o simplemente nos impedía poder jugar.

Luego de esto simplemente preferimos jugar cada uno en una partida individual porque la experiencia en modo cooperativo fue una pesadilla. En la mayoría de partidas individuales simplemente estábamos probando los mapas nuevos (porque sí, han añadido nuevos mapas en las últimas versiones) y también aproveché a ganar unos cuantos Monares (la moneda dentro del juego).

Muy probablemente siga jugando este juego estos días porque con el internet así, necesito jugar algo offline para mantenerme distraído. Espero que estén bien, y por favor, cuidense mucho.
