Review The Simpsons: Bart vs. the Space Mutants - Nes Version

Happy day to all the Hive community, due to health issues I have not been able to upload content, although I'm still a little sick, I feel better, this encourages me to continue sharing with you some reviews that I had in mind.

The Simpsons is one of the most famous animated series of all time that has been active for more than 33 years, but at the beginning it was very well received by viewers, this resulted in different video games for various systems, among them is the famous Famicom and the NES, in which 4 games were released, here we will see one of them called The Simpsons: Bart vs. the Space Mutants.

The synopsis of the game is very simple, some aliens have a hidden plan to dominate the world, Bart is the only person who realizes this, so he sets out to stop them before they fulfill their mission, it is at this moment that he realizes that his X-ray glasses have the ability to identify which humans are controlled by these beings, having a great advantage over them.

This game is considered of the action and adventure genre, however, in my experience I can also identify elements of platforming, this suggests that for its time it was "complex" in several ways, since it was not only about going from point "A" to point "B", it was necessary to complete certain requirements per level to complete it and eliminate the boss that awaited us at the end.

For example, in the first level we must paint different objects that are purple and turn them red, in the second level we must collect a predetermined amount of hats made by the aliens, the third level we must explode all the balloons, the fourth level we must destroy or collect all the signs that say "exit", and the last level we must collect all the uranium bars.

The gameplay is simple, although sometimes it can be somewhat annoying due to its gameplay, since the button with which we jump is the same one used to jump, something that can sometimes make you lose a life in an unusual way, especially in those levels where you have to make millimetric jumps, such as the level of the mall, or the museum.

If you are a person who knows the game by heart and you learn the exact patterns of the jumps and eliminate enemies, you can pass the game quickly, however, to achieve that agility you must try many times to pass each of its levels. As a curious fact, if we find the letters that form the name of the members of our family we will get a great reward, a help from that family member at the time of eliminating the boss of the level.

The Simpsons: Bart vs. the Space Mutants is a rather complicated game for those who are not used to losing everything when running out of lives, we depend only on our agility and a few attempts to go through all levels, however, once you understand perfectly its cumbersome gameplay regarding the jump, it will be a nice game, but it is still a great challenge for any player.
