Silver 4 is in my sight now

Playing my angel deck then Ninjutsu deck

Angels normally go hard

I thought it would be a solid match if I went my Angel deck and the starting hand had some nice cards in it, helpful if I would pull a couple of alright cards in the upcoming draws as well and that Enduring Angel is a really OP card.

The first few turns were pretty standard, I got out my Minister while the opponent didn't get anything out until turn 2 which I got Radiant Grace onto my Minister. I like the Overseer due to the life gain and drawing a card, great for a variety of combos involving life gain, but he didn't block to take out my creature as they can boost their card which they do in their next turn.

The opponents cards tend to be boosted by playing instant or sorcery cards which can be common for a red/blue deck, as is just using instant and sorcery cards as a common theme for those types of decks. This is where I make a big mistake that may not have mattered anyway.. but I was playing Risingstargame at the same time and didn't pay proper attention, playing my Enduring Angel got it countered as I completely forgot about counters in that brief moment!

The battle was mostly going my way, I drew an Elspeth Planeswalker, went to play it, of course there is a counter to it as well just my luck!
Radiant Restraints could normally help out, except the draws I got didn't help out much and it just ended up in me losing anyway, all because of those two counter cards! Maybe my Ninjutsu deck will have a better shot..

Now onto the mighty Ninjutsu deck!

Nice starting hand + the first drawn card, some low mana cost cards to cover me for a few turns, with a saga being usable on turn 2 which buffs my turn damage to help kick things off!

I take out my opponents 1/1 token and draw a murder as that will come in handy in time... For now it is some damage and getting Silver-Fur Master onto the field, great to boost some of my creatures while reducing Ninjutsu cost!

Talking about damage you will finally see the first use of Ninjutsu, with a 4 mana cost for Dokuchi to come out while returning my 1 mana card to my hand, giving a nice 6/6 and a burst of damage. Of course it is short-lived as the Hold for Ransom stops blocking and attacks from my Dokuchi... oh well!

Time to use my murder on the civil servant, to not take many risks or wait if it might be helpful toward winning the game!

The game changer here to save me from losing, while taking my opponent down low is the double Mukotai summon with the double lifelink healing.

My opponents ends up attacking but not having enough damage which leave him wide open for an attack, with only one blocker to counter my damage which means, I have gotten another ranked win and I hope you enjoy seeing the power the Ninjutsu deck can offer and how much fun I have!

With this win as you can see, I am only one win away from hitting Silver 4 and tougher opponents, since you tend to get 2 bars at this level for a win and I am keen to progress through Silver to Gold!

What to do now and how to rank up quicker

By the looks of these decks and after a few small tweaks for now.. I think I will use two main decks, this Ninjutsu one and either my angels or my green/black death as they are the most solid, though I need to keep refining them to be stronger and better through the course of the match. I did make another deck with citizens and such but that needs more work than the others.

If I use the two main decks for now, I will hopefully easily hit Silver 3 and if I have too many troubles, I can modify the decks a bit more and keep pushing into the higher ranks.
