Mortal Shell is an indie-made Dark Souls-like game, planned for release later this year but whose demo has just been made available to all. So what do you get in the Mortal Shell demo? A very basic introduction to what we can expect from the game, a teaser of classes, abilities, items, monster attack patterns, lute playing and cat petting. Because yes, you can indeed pet the cat and this is as satisfying as it should be. And this is coming from someone who totally isn’t a cat person.
