Many times I have made reference to MTA, a platform where we can play San Andreas online with people from many parts of the world, it is a very active world where there are many servers of all kinds, I have been playing in different servers for many years and so far I have not been bored, I have played in Battle Royale servers, in Drift and racing servers, and even in Roleplay servers, but today I want to talk about one of my favorite game modes, DayZ, a server that tries to simulate DayZ, and it does it very well.
Muchas veces he hecho referencia a MTA, una plataforma donde podemos jugar al San Andreas online con personas de muchas partes del mundo, es un mundo bastante activo donde hay muchísimos servidores de todo tipo, yo llevo jugando en distintos servidores desde hace muchos años y hasta ahora no me he aburrido, he jugado en servidores de Battle Royale, en servidores de Drift y carreras, y hasta en servidores de Roleplay, pero hoy les quiero hablar de uno de mis modos de juegos favoritos, DayZ, un servidor que intenta simular a DayZ, y que lo hace muy bien.
DayZ is an open world survival game in which we are placed in a world hit by a zombie apocalypse, in which we will fight to survive, you can find more players and some may be hostile or a little more peaceful, so you have to be looking for all kinds of supplies and weapons to survive, that's the main goal, always stay alive, this game was used as a reference for this GTA server.
DayZ es un juego de supervivencia mundo abierto en el que se nos sitúa en un mundo azotado por un apocalipsis zombie, en el que lucharemos por sobrevivir, te puedes encontrar con más jugadores y algunos pueden ser hostiles o un poco más pacíficos, por lo que tendrás que estar buscando todo tipo de suministros y armas para poder sobrevivir, ese es el principal objetivo, mantenerse vivo siempre, este juego fue usado como referencia para este servidor de GTA.
Ahora imagina todo ese concepto que define a DayZ implementado en un juego antiguo como GTA San Andreas, seguramente te venga a la cabeza una modificación muy vaga ya que es un juego antiguo, aunque no lo creas es sorprendente la versatilidad que tiene San Andreas, la primera vez que jugué en el servidor de DayZ quedé impresionado porque el juego original estaba tan modificado que podía parecerse mucho a DayZ, el mundo de San Andreas fue sometido a una conversión total para que parezca un juego totalmente diferente.
Now imagine all that concept that defines DayZ implemented in an old game like GTA San Andreas, surely it comes to your mind a very vague modification since it is an old game, believe it or not it is amazing the versatility that San Andreas has, the first time I played on the DayZ server I was impressed because the original game was so modified that it could look a lot like DayZ, the world of San Andreas was subjected to a total conversion to make it look like a totally different game.
Not only does the world change, there are even new mechanics to complement each element of the game, we will reappear in a part of the world we choose, as in DayZ we will have to find everything we need to survive, the items are scattered around the map, food and drinks, pharmaceutical items, weapons and even items to repair a car, all this can be found by exploring, it is a fairly large map so we will have plenty of places to explore.
No solo cambia el mundo, incluso hay nuevas mecánicas para complementar cada elemento del juego, reapareceremos en una parte del mundo que elijamos, al igual que en DayZ tendremos que buscar todo lo necesario para sobrevivir, los ítems están regados por el mapa, comida y bebidas, objetos farmacéuticos, armas y hasta objetos para reparar un coche, todo esto lo podemos encontrar explorando, es un mapa bastante grande por lo que tendremos bastantes lugares para explorar.
Y al ser un mapa muy grande tendremos que estar desplazándonos de manera muy lenta porque vamos a pie, conseguir un coche es muy difícil, puedes encontrar un coche, pero siempre le faltarán algunos elementos para que puedan funcionar, a algunos les pueden faltar los neumáticos, el motor, puedes estar sin combustible o hasta no tener una batería, para repararlos no solo necesitamos la pieza que el carro necesite, también necesitaremos herramientas que permitan reemplazar esas piezas, necesitaremos objetos como una caja de herramientas u otro objeto dependiendo de lo que el coche necesite.
And being a very large map we will have to be moving very slowly because we are on foot, getting a car is very difficult, you can find a car, but it will always be missing some elements to make it work, some may be missing tires, engine, you can be out of fuel or even not have a battery, to repair them not only need the part that the car needs, we will also need tools to replace those parts, we will need objects like a toolbox or other object depending on what the car needs.
El mundo está lleno de zombies por lo que debemos de tener bastante cuidado, incluso en algunas zonas en específico hay zombies especiales, que son mucho más fuertes y más rápidos, y no solo debemos de protegernos de los zombies, incluso hay zonas donde hay sobrevivientes NPCs que son hostiles y no dudaran en disparar al verte, hay fortalezas resguardadas por NPCs humanos que intentarán matarte si entras ahí, pero también debemos de tener cuidado con otros jugadores, te puedes encontrar jugadores pacíficos con los que puedes hablar y hasta hacer equipo, pero la mayoría son muy agresivos y apenas te ven empezarán a disparar, personalmente yo no soy muy fanático de jugar así, me gusta más entrar en el personaje de un sobreviviente e interactuar con otros sobrevivientes, he llegado a charlar por bastante tiempo con otros jugadores, una vez estuve hablando con un Brasileño y nos estuvimos ayudando, tuvimos que hablarnos en inglés para poder entendernos.
The world is full of zombies so we must be very careful, even in some specific areas there are special zombies, which are much stronger and faster, and not only must we protect ourselves from the zombies, there are even areas where there are survivors NPCs who are hostile and will not hesitate to shoot when they see you, there are fortresses guarded by human NPCs who will try to kill you if you go in there, but we must also be careful with other players, you can find peaceful players with whom you can talk and even make a team, but most of them are very aggressive and as soon as they see you they will start shooting, personally I am not a fan of playing like that, I like more to get into the character of a survivor and interact with other survivors, I have gotten to chat for a long time with other players, once I was talking to a Brazilian and we were helping each other, we had to speak in English to understand each other.
Conseguir suministros para sobrevivir es muy difícil, pero si vas a zonas boscosas puedes encontrar animales como ciervos o cabras que puedes matar para quedarte con su carne, además de matarlas puedes montarlas también, un poco raro pero puede ser divertido, en los bosques debes tener cuidado, hay animales salvajes que pueden matarte, animales como osos o lobos.
Getting supplies to survive is very difficult, but if you go to wooded areas you can find animals like deer or goats that you can kill to keep their meat, besides killing them you can also ride them, a little weird but it can be fun, in the forests you must be careful, there are wild animals that can kill you, animals like bears or wolves.
Tenemos un sistema de inventario en el que la cantidad de objetos que podamos portar dependerá de la mochila que tengamos, pero incluso la mochila más grande puede ponerse full por llevar muchas cosas, puedes conseguir una tienda y ponerla para guardar tus cosas, debes asegurarte de esconderla muy bien para que no te la roben.
We have an inventory system in which the amount of items we can carry will depend on the backpack we have, but even the biggest backpack can get full for carrying a lot of things, you can get a tent and put it to store your stuff, you must make sure to hide it very well so it doesn't get stolen.
La personalización de tu personaje es muy dinámica y versátil, puedes personalizar a tu personaje antes de empezar a jugar e incluso puedes personalizarlo dentro del juego, además de eso podemos encontrar trajes completos en el mapa, las opciones a elegir para personalizar a nuestro personaje son muchísimas, y no solo hay muchas opciones para personalizar a nuestro personaje, hay muchísimas armas, y de todo tipo, rifles, subfusiles, escopetas y muchísimo más.
The customization of your character is very dynamic and versatile, you can customize your character before you start playing and you can even customize it within the game, besides that we can find complete costumes on the map, the options to choose from to customize our character are many, and not only there are many options to customize our character, there are many weapons, and of all kinds, rifles, submachine guns, shotguns and much more.
