Greetings to everyone! Terracore is a idle mining game based on blockchain technology. It is the first game with which I have stepped into the entertainment of crypto gaming. So, after playing the game for more than 2 months, I do feel like that I have understood the basics and in and out of the game. Though this post is not going to be a basic guide to the game but rather to track my activities and to share with you all about the gameplay and what's been happening.
As I have already mentioned that Terracore is a idle mining game. The native mining token of the game is $SCRAP. Thus, you can mine $SCRAP from the game. The game lets you claim your mined $SCRAP token with a replenished claim every four hours with a maximum claim limit of 5. After that claim limit will not increase. You can use claims back to back until you have 0 claim. Now, apart from only mining, you can also attack other players in the Terracore planet. Similar to the claims, we have replenished attacks in every four hours with a maximum limit of 8 attacks in the vault. Thus, in a day, you get 6 attacks to be precise. To ATTACK someone, you have to have your attack power more than the DEFENSE power of your rival. Ok, so you will be having ATTACK power and DEFENSE power in the game which can be upgraded.
Your mined scraps will be stored in a STASH which starts from 1, i.e., the maximum amount of $SCRAP it can accommodate is 1. Keep an eye on the stash size, as it will store your mined $SCRAP and win $SCRAP from attacking other players. If your stash size is too small, all the mined scraps and win scraps will not go into your HE wallet. For example, if you have a stash size of 1 and you win an attack where you steal 2 $SCRAP from opponent then you will be rewarded with 1 $SCRAP only cause that is what your stash size.
To mine your $SCRAP, the game possess ENGINEERING with a definite rate of mining scrap token. The game also possess a feature called DODGE which helps you dodge an upcoming attack on you. In case of a successful dodge, the opponent gets 0 $SCRAP from you. But be careful, the same can go against you as well (LOL).
You can burn your $SCRAP token to explore other planets. This can be done using the FAVOR. You can contribute your scraps to the FAVOR which basically means to burn your scrap tokens. After burning or contributing 1000 $SCRAP you get to unlock a different planet. With moving to a different planet, there you have the chance to play the BOSS Fight. For wining a boss fight, you get a crate of UNCOMMON rarity which contains NFTs with game stats. Though, the dropped crate could also of rare, epic or legendary with decreasing drop rate respectively. With increasing stash size you boost a feature called LUCK which comes pretty handy during the boss fight, as to win a boss fight, your luck stats have to be greater than the random roll. With burning scraps, you boost a feature called CRITICAL HITS, this allows you to steal higher number of $SCRAP from your rival.
Now, with the boss fights, there comes the second token of the game called as $FLUX, which can be earned by salvaging your NFTs or you could buy from the HE market as well. It is interesting that to start a boss fight, you need $FLUX as fuel of your ship which lets you explore planets other than the base planet - terracore.
One can also play quests in a similar way by burning $FLUX as fuel which gives you relics of different rarity. You can forge a crate by combining 100 relics of the same rarity.
