RE: Will the pricing of the new games continue, or will the companies retreat in their decisions?

I agree with everything you are saying. Fair enough the amount of time and work that is put into the creation and release of a new game is tremendous as technology advances people want the games looking and feeling great. However as a mother of four and grandmother of six how many extra hours do they think I could work to keep them all happy and purchase games, add ons, updates etc?

Most parents are really in for a struggle with the way the price of games are shooting up, although have to admit my son wanted NBA so I bought him a hoop and basket ball and they are still going strong a year later 😀.

Maybe all games should have a 2 day trial, try before you buy, no matter what the purchase price. Least then the consumers would know how the game played and if it was worth their hard earned money. Just an idea as I would not spend that much money on something I could not return for a refund if the game turned out to be a poor low end game.
