Hello Gamers, How are you all? I hope all of you had a lot of fun this year. As all of us spend our entire time inside our home. This will be one of those years in which our parents were supporting us to play games and prevented us from playing games outside the house. As we all know by now the COVID pandemic still exists and the virus is getting mutations and the only way we can prevent it is if we all follow the guidelines WHO is telling us to do like avoid gathering, avoid travelling in groups, wear masks, and etc. This year has made a huge change in our lifestyles and we all had to deal with lockdowns and doing things from our home like teaching, attending classes, conducting gatherings in a virtual space and etc. I do think that all of this will not be possible by now if covid was not there.
The video game companies like EA, UBISOFT, MY.COM AND ROCKSTAR GAMES had a tough time maintaining the severs and also providing support as the online multiplayer section was blowing up with new and new players from all corners of the world. Some games like Valorant, Warface, Pubg Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile and Apex Legend etc had too many active players which made the servers overload and crash many times. Some games like warface had to add custom servers for the newcomers for making them play on their own server.
EVOLUTION OF GAMING

As we all know about the evolution of games. Brick Games was the first game I have ever played from there I started playing 8-bit video games on my TV, it was really fun at that time and also it was having multiplayer and after that, I played 3D mobile games like Brothers in arms, Hummer 3D that looked out of this world at that time and later I entered into PC gaming where it was super fun, mindblowing graphics, endless opportunities and infinite collections of games.

In each step in the evolution of gaming, the developers have improved the graphics and also improved the realism of the games. They have provided the gears for making the games feel extremely real, like providing the right hardware for playing a specific game, for example, you can buy a steering wheel, gears, and accelerator for playing Forza Horizon or any other racing games for giving a feel of actually driving a car. In real life, you can be a kid who doesn't even own a licence for driving a car but inside the game, you can get the same feel of driving a car by just using the "Racing Wheel & Pedal Set" which will only cost under 100 dollars.
WHY VR GAMING?

I really think that VR Gaming is the next big thing as it will remove the biggest problem that we have right now. Most gamers who play games for longer periods of time spend their entire time inside their rooms sitting on a chair in front of a computer/console. They are literally doing nothing other than playing games. They are really poor at interacting with others and also they will have no idea about what is happening in the real world. Actually, that is what is shown in the movies like Ready Player One and Free Guy. In those movies, the video game developers are trying to provide a virtual environment similar to the real world in which the players can do whatever they like. it can be playing football with friends or exploring new places with other players rather than trying to complete a level that was programmed by a game developer. The developers are actually trying to bridge the gap between a real-world and a virtual world and that's what Metaverse is trying to do right now.
MY BIGGEST GAMING WISH FOR THIS CHRISTMAS

So for this Christmas, my biggest gaming wish is to buy a PlayStation VR and PS5.
It's has been a long time since I have played any physical games that involve running and jumping as I had a leg injury I'm not allowed to play any physical games. So I almost forgot how it was like to play football and cricket. It is always motivating to watch the highlights of Messi and Ronaldo taking goals in the world cup. I always imagine if I didn't have this leg injury what would it be like to play like them. But if Metaverse is coming there will be hope for people like me.
