Eska is a warrior of unknown origin, with gray hair and beard, and clothes that don’t match the current era. He was found by a scouting team sent by Shirano to the forbidden zone encased in a thick layer of ice. After bringing him back to the empire, they were shocked that he was still alive. They decided to lock him up in a cell so they could run tests and figure out if there is anything different with him. His true strength is revealed when Krizator eventually meets up with him to check him out and ask him what happened. Eska doesn’t know how he got encased in ice, and is curious about what happened in the time he was frozen. This leads him and Krizator to adventure together, in a series of events that would lead the latter to relinquish the title of prince and successor to the throne.
