Free Games - Pizza Hero, All Walls Must Fall, and Floppy Knights for PC

Hello there.

I found a lot of free games to share. They might not be AAA games, but they have a wide variety, and hopefully one of them meets your fancy. If not, at least it's free.

Pizza Hero

Do you love Pizza? Who doesn't right? In a weird twist of fate, the safety of the world now rests on a pizza slice defending us from an invasion. Released just 2 weeks ago [June 28, 2024] Pizza Hero is a roguelike, swarm survivor game. In this game, you try to kill swarms of enemies that are approaching you from all directions. To help you in your battles, you can get different toppings to fit your playstyle. Pepperoni acts like grenade that deals splash damage, blue cheese to emit a damage dealing aura, and many others.

On top of the pizza, you can also get companions to help you collect item drops in the game. I believe you start with the dog, but if you follow some trails you can find other animals to help you. I have seen this game be compared to Vampire Survivor, which is a more popular version with similar gameplay. The big difference is, this one's free. If you want to try the gameplay, you can try this and see if you like it. Last July 9, they said that the game will be changing from free to paid, but they didn't specify when. So you might want to get the game on Steam before that happens. You can search for it on the steam client or use this link:

I personally like these types of gameplay. I remember playing a lot of gun bros on mobile a long time ago. From my experience, swarm survivor games are very addictive and they can take up one's time without them realizing it. The different items and weapons can make each run different.

All Walls Must Fall - A Tech-Noir Tactics Game

Do you like tactics games? How about time manipulation? All Walls Must Fall mixes both in a very interesting game set in the future, where the Cold War never ended. If the futuristic yet old school plot of the game got you curious, the techno night club music is sure to keep you coming back for more. The team made it so that the music reacts to the gameplay currently happening. So the actions and battles hit differently. They also took inspiration from games like XCOM, and Superhot.

Doing the complete opposite of what Pizza Hero is doing, All Walls Must Fall is becoming a free to play game. The game needed to be purchased for the past 6 years. It is an older game, but the art style and music really works with the theme of the game. I have seen some of the reviews and the game is short, and can be completed under 5 hours. So if you want to try something different over the weekend, and just vibe out with the music, you can check the game out in Steam. You can search for it in the client, or you can use this link:

Floppy Knights

We have another free tactics game available for free. But this time, instead of using time manipulation, the game uses cards. In Floppy Knights, you build your own deck to use against your enemies. You can also craft cards to increase the number of available cards you can use. The game was released in May 2022, and it reminded me of a game with similar mechanics, Marvel's Midnight Suns. They both have deck building, and tactics gameplay. The biggest difference is obviously the graphics. Floppy Knights looks cartoonish, and reminds me of old school games. Some of the art looks like the current cartoons shown on TV.

I grew up using floppy disks for a short period of time, so seeing it here is very nostalgic. It would be interesting to see what other retro things they placed in the game.

For tactics games lovers, this one doesn't have a high PC requirements. It can work with an i3 CPU, 4GB RAM, and Intel GPU. If you are interested on the game, you can get it in the Epic Games Store until July 18. You can go there using this link:

I hope you like some of these games and try them out. If you played them, don't hesitate to comment and let me know what you think. If you're a hoarder like me, enjoy the additional games that you probably won't be able to play. And as always, happy gaming.
