Les comento que siempre me ha hecho ilusión el poder hablar de mis opiniones sobre videojuegos. Debo confesarlo antes de comenzar y es que prefiero ver a los demás jugando, debido a que prefiero analizar con más detenimiento su historia, aspecto y dinámica de jugabilidad.

Pero bueno, también tengo juegos en los que me gusta divertirme y experimentar por mi cuenta la experiencia. Tengo una opinión personal que consiste en que si no tienes mucho tiempo libre y tus horarios laborales dependen además de tu teléfono, una excelente opción es jugar a través de este mismo medio.

Es muy sabido que muchos de los videojuegos toman libros sumamente populares para ser llevados a mano de una jugabilidad apta para los fanáticos del mundo gamer. Sin embargo a veces las compañías saben que hay un público menos dotado con las habilidades que ocupan este mundillo y aunque a veces no son comprendidas de la misma manera, son muchísimas.
This time I bring you an option that meets all those expectations and it is related to nothing more and nothing less than "Harry Potter". We are in front of: "Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery", a online single player role-playing video game, developed for Android and IOS by Jam Key, under the license of Porticy Games and released in 2018.
Esta vez les traigo una opción que cumple con todas esas expectativas y no está relacionado que nada más y nada menos que con "Harry Potter". Estamos ante: "Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery", un videojuego online de rol single player, desarrollado para Android y IOS por Jam Key, bajo la licencia de Porticy Games y lanzado en 2018.
It is a game as you will see older than the popular "Hogwarts Legacy" and I met it by pure chance while searching for information about the houses of "Harry Potter". Perhaps the game I am talking about has gone unnoticed before the success of such a RPG game, released in 2023, but you can see the influence it brought in some of the aspects of the latter.
Es un juego como verán más antiguo que el popular "Hogwarts Legacy" y lo conocí por pura casualidad mientras buscaba información sobre las casas de "Harry Potter". Tal vez el juego que les comento haya pasado desapercibido ante el éxito de semejante juego RPG, lanzado este 2023, pero se nota la influencia que aportó el mismo en alguno de los aspectos de este último.

We are told that our older brother, who belonged to our house was expelled for investigating the "Magical Vaults" and is currently missing.
La historia nos remonta cerca de los años que nació Harry Potter, sin embargo podremos seguir creciendo hasta llegar al año 7 de nuestros estudios. El personaje con el que haces la aventura es un no muggle que va a comenzar sus estudios en el Colegio Hogwarts de Magia y Hechicería en Inglaterra. Se nos cuenta que nuestro hermano mayor, quien perteneció a nuestra casa fue expulsado por estar investigando sobre las "Bóvedas Mágicas" y que actualmente se encuentra desaparecido.
The game will allow us to interact with characters such as Albus Dumbledore, Rubeus Hagrid, Severus Snape, Minerva McGonagall and there will be special missions in which you can even meet Remus Lupin himself. All this, while we go to different classes taught at school and interact with friends who introduce us in main and secondary missions. It's up to you to go discovering the adventures that are proposed to you and who knows, maybe you can win some cups for your house in a few Quidditch matches 😉.
El juego nos permitirá interactuar con personajes tales como: Albus Dumbledore, Rubeus Hagrid, Severus Snape, Minerva McGonagall y habrá misiones especiales en las que te podrás encontrar incluso con el mismísimo Remus Lupin. Todo, mientras vamos a diferentes clases impartidas en el colegio e interactuamos con los amigos que nos presentan en misiones principales y secundarias. Depende de tí ir descubriendo las aventuras que se te proponen y quien sabe, tal vez puedas ganar algunas copas para tu casa en unos cuantos partidos de Quidditch. 😉
You can tell it's intended for an audience that needs something more relaxed and less difficult in matters of gameplay mechanics. But sometimes the decisions and some mistakes we make while playing will cost us dearly for the plot.
Se nota que está destinado para un público que necesita algo más relajado y menos difícil en cuestiones de mecánica de jugabilidad. Pero a veces las decisiones y algunas equivocaciones que cometamos al jugar nos costarán bien caros para la trama.

First as I said before, this is a very good option for those who do not know much about video games, prefer something quiet and are more to play on the cell phone.

Its setting respects many aspects of the story, not counting some modifications that I understand is so that less updated phones can access the game.
Su ambientación respeta bastantes aspectos de la historia, sin contar algunas modificaciones que entiendo es para que teléfonos menos actualizados puedan acceder al juego.
It has a few languages, and luckily in my case is in Spanish.
Tiene unos cuantos idiomas, y por suerte en mi caso se encuentra en español.
The fact of customizing and changing clothes seems great to me, but I loved that they will respect the use of mandatory uniform in class shifts.

The plot in general is very engaging despite its slowness. Interacting with many elements and characters from the movies is fantastic. Even if you give yourself the chance to have enough elements to make friends with fantastic animals, you will be surprised at the variety you can get.
La trama en general es muy atractiva a pesar de su lentitud. Interactuar con muchos elementos y personajes de las películas es fantástico. Finally something that many were disappointed with Hogwarts Legacy, which is the fact that you can't establish "closer" relationships with your fellow adventurers, in this game luckily you can and you even have different dates with the available candidates for romance.
Por último algo en lo que muchos se sintieron decepcionados con Hogwarts Legacy, que es el hecho de no poder establecer relaciones "más cercanas" con los compañeros de aventuras, en este juego por suerte si se puede e incluso tienes citas diferentes con los candidatos disponibles para el romance.

The most important and the axis of everything, the MICROTRANSACTIONS. I clarify the game is free, but in the game there is an internal currency called energy very used, which is spent by doing actions in the game and is recharged in a matter of hours or paying with real money. At the beginning it tended to be charged with real money to have items or clothes, but nowadays they replaced it by earning it through many special missions in which they are recharged at the end of the day in using more energy 🤷🏻♀️. In short it makes the game extremely slow, often taking away the magic, no better said.
Lo más importante y el eje de todo, las MICROTRANSACCIONES. Aclaro el juego es gratuito, pero en el mismo existe una moneda interna llamada energía muy usada, cual es gastada al hacer acciones en el juego y se recarga en cuestión de horas o pagando con dinero real. Al inicio se tendía a cobrar con dinero real para tener objetos o ropa, pero actualmente lo reemplazaron por ganarlo a través de muchas misiones especiales en las cuales se recargan al final del día en usar más energía 🤷🏻♀️. En resumen hace el juego extremadamente lento, muchas veces quitando la magia, no mejor dicho.

I would have to wait for when it advances, but for the moment I'm not much of a fan.
Creo que por último, aquí vendría una opinión negativa que depende de la visión personal de cada uno, en mi caso sería negativa y es con respecto al diseño, aunque para los paisajes es espectacular dándonos en ocasiones lugares muy bonitos, con respecto a los personajes y animales fantásticos su diseño es un poco más pobre, además de muy infantil. Tendría que esperar a cuando avance, pero por el momento no soy muy fan.

In summary, Hogwarts Mystery is a game that has a lot of potential, but if you don't want such a slow game or don't have that much money for the connection it's not a good option for you.
En resumen, Hogwarts Mystery es un juego que tiene mucho potencial, pero si no deseas un juego tan lento o no tienes tanto dinero para la conexión no es una buena opción para tí.
But if you want something more leisurely you could give it a try, maybe its plot will catch your attention.
Pero sí quieres algo más pausado podrías intentarlo, tal vez te llame la atención su trama.
