As we saw in the recent Assassin's Creed Valhalla gameplay trailer, there was a scene in which a final blade attack mimicked Mortal Kombat's famous X-Ray attacks, as it showed the blade piercing the wound and breaking the victim's bones. As many assumed that it was just a random scene to impress, the new director of the game Benoit Richer, stated that the 'Mortal Kombat like' finishing move is activated by the player and will be part of the gameplay.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is expected to be released on November 17 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Stadia.
