Hola hive, hoy les vengo a hablar de un videojuego bastante curioso que me encontré en la AppStore, nunca había oído hablar pero su estética y concepto era tan cool que decidí descargarlo y darle una oportunidad, así que por eso es que hoy les vengo a hablar de Vector
Vector es un videojuego estilo running en dos dimensiones que tiene una estética de parkour, dicho juego fue lanzada para dispositivos móviles (Android e iOS) y para Windows en el 2012. Como en todos los videojuegos running, vector consiste en escapar evitando los obstáculos e intentando llegar a un lugar determinado. Ahora si, después de haber dado un poco de contexto ahora si comencemos!
Cabe destacar que como dije al principio nunca había oído hablar de este videojuego, pero me sorprendió mucho que cuando lo vi en la AppStore tenía una buena calificación y buenos comentarías, así que desde ahí subieron mis expectativas ya que si a la mayoría de personas les gusta, algo bueno debe de tener, entonces ahí fue cuando me di la tarea de intentar hacerle un review.
La verdad es que es un videojuego sencillo y esto no necesariamente tiene que ser malo sino que el concepto en sí ya lo conocemos y es que existen muchos videojuegos para smartphone con un concepto y jugabilidad bastante similar así que por este lado si es verdad que no vamos a encontrar mucho más que eso
Lo bueno e interesante de este videojuego es el parkour, y es que ir desbloqueando trucos y ver la animación del personaje jugando es bastante divertido de por si, así que por este lado si siento que tiene un punto positivo, además de que ha medida de que vamos avanzando los trucos y jugabilidad va siendo cada vez más genial.
Si tuviese que destacar algo de este videojuego es su historia, porque aunque es simplemente un vídeo de 5 min donde se nos explica un poco el contexto de nuestro personaje principal, sinceramente es una historia bastante genial y nos da una razón para huir, es decir, no solo estamos huyendo porque si, sino que a nivel de historia y contexto esto sí tiene un sentido, destacó esto porque es algo en lo que este tipo de videojuegos normalmente pasan por alto.
También me gusta que aunque el videojuego trata de huir, pues igual se podría considerar un videojuego de plataforma ya que al final el objetivo no es romper récord e ir sumando puntos, sino ir completando niveles y mundos cada vez más complicados y distintos a los anteriores.
En cuanto a los diseños de los niveles admito que si me parecen bastante sencillos pero al final cumple, además de que me gusta pues que la mayoría del diseño del videojuego sea en color negro, le da una personalidad bastante característica a este videojuego.
Si siento que una de las razones por lo que Vector puede estar refundido dentro de la AppStore es que realmente existen videojuegos bastantes similares y no logre conseguir un punto extremadamente novedoso que lo hiciera resaltar, y no me mal entiendan es un videojuego que tiene cosas buenas y admito que es divertido, pero más allá de tener una estética diferente no hay mucho más que lo haga resaltar dentro de todos los videojuegos que existen con este formato.
En conclusión me parece un videojuego bueno y entretenido, sirve para pasar un buen rato y al final siento que ese es el objetivo de estos videojuegos, siento que vale la pena echarle un vistazo porque tiene cosas entretenidas, pero tampoco es el videojuego más novedoso que he jugando, así que también habrían personas que lo podrían catalogar como “más de lo mismo”, pero ya eso está en criterio de cada quien.

It should be noted that as I said at the beginning I had never heard of this game, but I was very surprised that when I saw it in the AppStore had a good rating and good comments, so from there my expectations went up because if most people like it, it must have something good, so that's when I gave myself the task of trying to do a review.
The truth is that it is a simple game and this does not necessarily have to be bad but the concept itself is already known and there are many video games for smartphone with a concept and gameplay quite similar so on this side if it is true that we will not find much more than that.
The good and interesting thing about this game is the parkour, and is that unlocking tricks and see the animation of the character playing is quite fun in itself, so on this side if I feel that it has a positive point, besides that has as we move forward the tricks and gameplay is becoming increasingly cool.
If I had to highlight something of this game is its story, because although it is simply a 5 min video where we explain a little context of our main character, honestly it is a pretty cool story and gives us a reason to flee, that is, we are not just running away because if, but at the level of history and context this does make sense, I emphasized this because it is something that this type of video games usually overlooked.
I also like that although the game is about running away, it could be considered a platform game because in the end the goal is not to break the record and score points, but to complete levels and worlds increasingly complicated and different from the previous ones.
As for the level designs I admit that if I find them quite simple but in the end it complies, plus I like the fact that most of the game design is in black color, it gives a very characteristic personality to this game.
If I feel that one of the reasons why Vector can be recast within the AppStore is that there are really quite similar games and failed to get an extremely innovative point that would make it stand out, and do not misunderstand me is a game that has good things and I admit it's fun, but beyond having a different aesthetic there is not much more that makes it stand out among all the games that exist with this format.
In conclusion I think it is a good and entertaining videogame, it is good to have a good time and in the end I feel that is the goal of these games, I feel it is worth a look because it has entertaining things, but it is not the newest videogame I've played, so there would also be people who could classify it as "more of the same", but that is in each person's criteria.
