In Leon's scenario, he can get at the S.T.A.R.S office after opening armory. It is automatic type MAG, which has more powerful among one of weapons.
But its performance is doubtful about if Lightning Hawk is strong MAG. Because, the immortal Tyrant is wandering or appears on getting this weapon. The aim points gather very slow. And, Ammo supply is insufficient too. You may get few MAG ammo - sometimes you'll obtain 1 MAG bullet. Although you can get from gunpowder combinations, it's inefficient - only yellow x yellow combinations.
However, adding more parts, Lightning Hawk will be more powerful. Especially, obtaining Red Dot Sight, the MAG gathers aim points fast.
In Extra Contents, Hunk - 4th Survivor - and Ghost, Ghost Survivors, use this gear which is against to high-graded enemy such as lickers and G-adults.
