HellDivers 2 Game For PC - Discovery Of The Year - The Most Intense Shooter

HellDivers 2 is a game that unexpectedly blows up the media space, with hundreds of thousands of players liberating planets from Terminid Beetles and Altematron cyborgs. We can play alone or with friends and random allies, but as a rule, playing with company is the most fun.

I’ll say right away that I haven’t played the first part. I have nothing to compare it with. I decided to play the second one after several videos, where everything looks as fun and interesting as possible.

I think the main thing about this game that is worth paying attention to, and what you should concentrate on when writing a review, is the gameplay. Everything else just complements the gaming experience. The plot here is purely for show. The sound is simply there, it is pleasant and serves as a beautiful background and additionally immerses you in the game process, but all this is just an addition to the process of shooting everything living on the screen.

I really liked the gameplay for several reasons. This is a full-fledged third-person shooter - action game. And it is created at the highest level.

I liked the variety of locations in the game. Although this can be partly attributed to the graphic aspect, I will also return to it later. But here, I want to draw attention to exactly how the game feels inside each location.

Let's start with the fact that all measures here are generated randomly, and there will never be two identical locations. Diversity is achieved by repainting textures and applying various filters. But besides this, the locations differ greatly in nature, time of day and weather conditions. From the jungle, to the desert, from green spaces, to snowy hills, etc. I think you understood what I wanted to point out.

During the game, you will get several missions to choose from. HellDivers 2 is based on a variety of tasks. The course of one session and it can last from 12 to 40 minutes is influenced by both external factors of the planets, their ecosystems and the level of difficulty. Either the tower needs to be set up, then the landing craft needs to be refueled, the pumps adjusted, the howitzer adjusted, the nuclear warhead launched, survivors evacuated, democratic flags placed. Means, you will always have something to do.

If at first you can actively enter into any skirmishes and emerge victorious, then further a bone-crushing pain awaits you, where you will have to play according to the principle of the highlanders, hit, run and hide.

We should not leave to the physics of the world and weapons a huge potential to be killed by your comrades, because here a complete friendly fire, a stray bullet or a supply dropped from the sky will kill you in the blink of an eye, not to mention rocket attacks. Each such ridiculous death makes you feel funny and makes you come back with renewed vigor on the battlefield. A big variety of weapons and support systems make the game interesting.

Each mission is allotted a certain amount of time, after which a ship arrives for you, on which you must be evacuated. At the same time, all the perks are cut off, and you won’t be able to put it on the ship and fight any further. If you don’t have time, it means you don’t have time. Time is usually allocated with a reserve. Usually from 15 to 45 minutes. This is always enough for the eyes, especially if you are able to work in a team.

Graphic arts: there are no complaints here either. The overal game's picture pleases our eyes from all sides. The game looks, feels and plays very nicely. The colors are bright. There is physics in the game. You can really feel the weight of the beetles and guns. Changes in weather and time of day are amazing. In general, I don’t see the point in describing the aspect of the picture for a very long time.

There is also a faction of automatons - these nasty bastards will make you sweat. Every second of your existence on the planet with them, you will feel the breath of death. And then you will die. And then again. And one more time, and then again... And so on until you manage to somehow make it to the evacuation and pray that they don’t call a tank, rocket fire or some other nonsense on you.

There are still crashes on the main computer screen, lags, bugs, stuck textures, and other little things that, although not critical, are still there. They clearly don't benefit the game.

And, of course, some paid content. There are two things here. On the one hand, there are paid improvements. On the other hand, all these improvements are rather cosmetic and do not cause any harm to the balance. And what’s more, all these improvements are bought for in-game currency, which is generously scattered throughout the levels and, if you wish, you can collect anything in 30–40 hours without spending your hard-earned money.

The gameplay, sound and picture more than cover all these shortcomings, which in fact can hardly be called shortcomings. All problems of the game are being solved very actively. Helldivers 2 - today is one of the brightest representatives of the genre.
