First of all, a warm greeting to all my friends in the Leo Finance community with whom I already had the opportunity to chat on the Leo Finance platform. But also very especially to my colleagues at Hive Gaming, a great community that I have been following since I joined and they are very nice.
My name is Lino, just yesterday I turned 20 years old and my story in this world began when I was 15 years old and I was only dedicating myself to study, play soccer, have fun with my friends through video games and spend time with my family, the normal for a boy of my age. However, the situation in my country (Venezuela) was becoming more and more unsustainable every day, inflation was getting worse and worse and all those things that I'm sure you've read in the news.
At that age I wanted to earn money, but the truth is that I had no idea how to start or what to do (I think it has happened to all of us hahaha).
In my efforts, I made a plan with my great friend @theanalystjohn (who also recommended me HIVE) to win money in a casino. I was about to ask my mom for a loan to complete the money I had already collected with my allowance, luckily I didn't do it hahaha, it all turned out to be a scam and our plan wasn't going to work. I admit that I got a little discouraged, the idea of earning money in a different way while having fun and doing something I liked seemed not to be an option (I was always clear that I wanted this, to earn money while doing something I liked).
Until I met steemit. This is really the highlight of my whole story, because I earned considerable amounts of money, so I was spending like crazy, but of course, I was a little guy without any financial education, so I paid the rookie price.
Then we already know the story, steemit fell down in a way and well, I got even more discouraged, I only thought "it was good while it lasted", but it was clear to me that I had to do something.
As soon as I finished high school I decided to go to study in another city, I developed a love for economics and I thought that being away from my mother would make me not depend so much on her and I could begin to forge my own path, And it would also help me to mature, so I took the adventure without thinking about it, what could go wrong?
My first years of studies were great, I'm not complaining, in fact when I had vacations I went back to my city to enjoy a little with my friends.
A little over a year ago, the pandemic started, the first week of confinement I was already looking for something to do, because I was not watching classes and the routine and loneliness was starting to bother me. I remembered that some time ago I had had my own channel in telegram of sports betting and that in that world there were kids who designed for the channel owners. So I thought, why don't I give it a try?
Without any knowledge I started, I remember that I charged 5€ per logo, and in my first job the client was delighted and paid me double (10€) , come on, I was really excited and wanted to continue, so while I was promoting myself with the good friends I had made there, I saw a design course. At the beginning I didn't know anything about design, but I didn't lack the desire.
Time went by and between educating myself to improve my techniques and continue working on flyers, logos, stickers, etc., I felt quite happy, I was earning a good amount of money from the comfort of my home and I was having fun in the process.
Then I decided to expand and do my community manager course and I have just created my own marketing team with which I hope to do quite well, if you want you can follow us on instagram as @somosmagicvzla.
Right now I manage a clothing instagram account in Colombia and I'm in my sixth semester of economics at the university "Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho". Luckily, and with a lot of desire I'm doing both things very well hehehehehe.
Unfortunately my income is still not enough to make me independent, but at least I can help my parents with the housework. I really have a lot of goals that I plan to accomplish at any cost, I am a patient man with a lot of determination and perseverance.
