He estado ausente durante un par de semanas y pido disculpas por la ausencia del contenido últimamente, sigo trabajando en “WEB3”, pero, son muchas cosas, más la vida personal, esto consume mucho tiempo, al menos más de lo que espere, pero, dejando esto de lado, quiero volver a la normalidad y traer al menos de 2 a 3 artículos por semana, esto para tomar el ritmo mientras me acostumbro de nuevo al que ya tenía antes, además, hay mucho que contar acerca de “Splinterlands”, nuevas actualizaciones y un montón de cosas de las que quiero hablarles.
Ahora bien, entrando en el contexto de lo que será este post, esta semana tenemos un nuevo “Desafío de participación comunitaria”, el cual trata sobre artículos de apoyo relacionado con estrategias para iniciar en los “Torneos” de “Splinterlands”, un tema bastante genial, ya que precisamente mi última publicación de hace poco más de 2 semanas trataba sobre los “Torneos”, una serie de publicaciones que no he terminado, pero, donde muestro básicamente información que se puede utilizar para evaluar a tus mayores contrincantes.
En todo caso, en esta guía hablare de lo más básico que necesitas para prepararte e ingresar a un torneo, que debes hacer y que no para tener éxito, no lo complicare mucho y lo haré lo más sencillo posible para que la información sea digerida fácilmente, quédate conmigo, comparte este post y comencemos:
Los primeros pasos para adentrarse en los “Torneos”
Lo primero que deban hacer antes de elegir un “Torneo” o tan siquiera pensar en participar, es que se conozcan así mismos, cuando digo esto, me refiero a que conozcan su mazo de cartas o en su defecto el capital que tienen disponible para poder invertir y “Alquilar” algunos equipos que les permitan participar, estoy contando esto como si fuera yo el que participara, así que lo que diga acá, es lo que yo personalmente haría, además de algunas recomendaciones poniéndome en ambas posiciones., en tal sentido, si todo está claro hasta aquí, continuemos…
Conocer tu mazo: ¿Porque esto es lo primero que debes conocer? Pues muy sencillo, los “Torneos” se dividen en “Ligas”, las cuales van desde “Bronce, Plata, Oro, hasta Diamante”, en cada una de estas ligas se acepta cierto nivel de cartas, esto es importante saberlo, ya que, puede que tengas cartas para competir en la “Liga Plata” por ejemplo, lo que quiere decir que, también podrías jugar en “Bronce”, pero, no podrías jugar en “Oro o Diamante”, así que es algo que debes tener presente si o si antes de iniciar. Para estimar algunos costos puedes utilizar el Cost Estimator de “Monstermarket.io o la herramienta Set Value de “Splintercards”.
Tienes poco Capital (Alquila): Adelante, suponiendo que no tengas cartas propias para jugar, pero si capital del cual disponer, siempre puedes “Alquilar” equipos que te permitirán competir en la liga de tu elección, para saber aproximadamente los costos de alquiler que tendrás, te puedes apoyar por la plataforma de Peakmonsters, la cual, puedes utilizar de varias formas, mi favorita es usar “Decks” e ingresar las cartas con el nivel que desees de acuerdo a la liga que quieras jugar en determinado torneo y de esta manera, añadirlas al carrito y saber su costo. Toma en cuenta, que el costo de alquilar aumenta dependiendo de los días, así que ajústate a tu presupuesto disponible y asegúrate de alquilar las cartas necesarias, algo de lo que hablare más adelante.
Tener SPS es vital: Sin el token SPS probablemente no puedas jugar ningun torneo, debes tenerlo en "Staking", así que, verifica bien las reglas de cada torneo, la cantidad necesesaria de SPS que se requiere y asegurate de cumplir con esto para calificar.
¿Qué cartas alquilar y/o comprar?
Una pregunta que a menudo se preguntaran muchos, pero es sencilla, de responder, pero antes, observen la siguiente imagen:
En la imagen anterior queda muy claro lo que hay que tener en cuenta antes de decidir jugar en un “Torneo”, por supuesto, la mayoría tienen un costo de entrada, que básicamente es representativo, ya que, la cantidad de recompensas ofrecidas siempre superaran los costos de entrada, entre otras cosas, siendo esto lo primero que verán, a partir de aquí, observaran su mazo existente si lo tienen; y verán si se adapta a las condiciones del torneo, sea en el SET apropiado para jugar, el tipo de lámina de las cartas y la liga.
En tal caso que su mazo no cumpla con el torneo que hayan seleccionado, está la opción de “Alquiler”, van a donde comente (Peakmonsters), construyen un “DECK” con las cartas necesarias del SET que necesitan y de la lámina que acepta el torneo, ven los costos de acuerdo con los días que necesiten, y listo, con esto es suficiente para comenzar.
En la imagen anterior pueden observar el proceso de como agregar las cartas en la opción de "DECKS" en Peakmonsters.
Nota: Deben ver bien la fecha de inicio del “Torneo”, ya que si lo que hacen es “Alquilar”, sus alquileres deben coincidir en tiempo con los “Torneos” que les interesen. Por otro lado, al construir el “DECK”, lo mejor es agregarlos al carrito para ver el precio real. Esta es una opción funcional, pero, si lo hacen manual, buscando las cartas una a una, seguramente podrán ahorrarse unos DECS o Créditos en el proceso.
Evaluar a los Rivales
Esto es algo más avanzado si se puede decir de esta manera, al menos la practica me ha llevado a que sea sencillo, pero es muy fácil de hacer también; y se trata de evaluar a los rivales, ahora bien, se preguntarán como hacerlo, pues solo deben de investigar un poco y podrán hacerse una idea de a quienes enfrentaran, los “Torneos” son geniales, pero, es en este modo de juego que están los mejores jugadores de todo “Splinterlands” buscando la gloria, todos quieren ganar y no serán piadosos contigo.
Lo bueno, es que en la misma opción de “Torneos”, puedes observar los que ya han culminado, en la liga o formato que desees, si vez varios de ellos, podrás ver en la tabla de posiciones que son los jugadores que más se repiten, una vez los tengas, puedes copiar su ID, para buscar sus cartas dentro del mismo juego y ver su CP (Poder de Colección), con esto, veras a que te enfrentas, quienes son los más fuertes y donde debes tener cuidado.
Nota: Por supuesto, en el apartado de las batallas si copias ese mismo ID, podras ver las ultimas que ha jugado y si por casualidad consigues esas batallas que disputo en el "Torneo" finalizado, podras ver sus estrategias de juego; y aunque no las consigas, puedes ver de que forma alinea sus cartas, cuales son sus tacticas y este tipo de detalles, que cartas usa con mas frecuencia, todo esto es importante.
Consideraciones Finales
Espero que este post sea de mucha utilidad para los nuevos jugadores que se van adentrando a los “Torneos”, es imperativo que manejen estos detalles que explique en este post, una vez se acostumbren, estoy seguro de que les ira muy bien, por supuesto, habrán derrotas, siempre es doloroso perder, pero es parte del proceso, así que continúa afinando tus habilidades y vence.

I've been absent for a couple of weeks and I apologize for the absence of content lately, I'm still working on "WEB3", but, there are many things, plus personal life, this consumes a lot of time, at least more than I expect, but, leaving this aside, I want to get back to normal and bring at least 2 to 3 articles per week, this to take the rhythm while I get used again to the one I had before, besides, there is a lot to tell about "Splinterlands", new updates and a lot of things I want to tell you about.
Now, going into the context of what will be this post, this week we have a new "Community Involvement Challenge", which is about support articles related to strategies to start in the "Tournaments" of "Splinterlands", a pretty cool topic, since precisely my last post just over 2 weeks ago was about "Tournaments", a series of posts that I have not finished, but, where I basically show information that can be used to evaluate your biggest opponents.
In any case, in this guide I will talk about the most basic things you need to prepare and enter a tournament, what to do and what not to do to succeed, I will not complicate it too much and I will make it as simple as possible so that the information is easily digested, stay with me, share this post and let's get started:
The first steps to enter the "Tournaments".
The first thing you should do before choosing a "Tournament" or even think about participating, is to know yourselves, when I say this, I mean that you know your deck of cards or otherwise the capital you have available to invest and "Rent" some equipment that allow you to participate, I am telling this as if I were the one participating, so what I say here, is what I personally would do, plus some recommendations putting myself in both positions, in that sense, if everything is clear so far, let's continue ....
Know your deck: Why is this the first thing you should know? Very simple, the "Tournaments" are divided into "Leagues", which range from "Bronze, Silver, Gold, to Diamond", in each of these leagues a certain level of cards is accepted, this is important to know, because you may have cards to compete in the "Silver League" for example, which means that you could also play in "Bronze", but you could not play in "Gold or Diamond", so it is something you should keep in mind before starting. To estimate some costs you can use the Cost Estimator from "Monstermarket.io or the Set Value tool from "Splintercards".
You have little Capital (Rent): If you don't have your own cards to play, but you do have capital to play with, you can always "Rent" equipment that will allow you to compete in the league of your choice, to know approximately the rental costs you will have, you can use the Peakmonsters platform, which you can use in several ways, my favorite is to use "Decks" and enter the cards with the level you want according to the league you want to play in a certain tournament and in this way, add them to the cart and know their cost. Keep in mind that the cost of renting increases depending on the days, so adjust to your available budget and make sure you rent the necessary cards, something I will talk about later.
Having SPS is vital: Without the SPS token you will probably not be able to play any tournament, you must have it in "Staking", so, check well the rules of each tournament, the necessary amount of SPS required and make sure you comply with this to qualify.
Which cards to rent and/or buy?
A question that many will often ask themselves, but it is simple to answer, but first, take a look at the following image:
In the image above it is very clear what you have to take into account before deciding to play in a "Tournament", of course, most of them have an entry fee, which is basically representative, since the amount of rewards offered will always exceed the entry fee, among other things, being this the first thing you will see, from here, you will look at your existing deck if you have one; and you will see if it adapts to the tournament conditions, whether in the appropriate SET to play, the type of cards' foil and the league.
In case your deck does not comply with the tournament you have selected, there is the option of "Renting", go to where I commented (Peakmonsters), build a "DECK" with the necessary cards of the SET you need and the sheet that accepts the tournament, see the costs according to the days you need, and that's it, that's enough to start.
In the image above you can see the process of how to add the cards in the "DECKS" option in Peakmonsters.
Note: You must check the start date of the "Tournament", because if you are "Renting", your rentals must coincide in time with the "Tournaments" you are interested in. On the other hand, when building the "DECK", it is best to add them to the cart to see the real price. This is a functional option, but, if you do it manually, looking for the cards one by one, you can surely save some DECS or Credits in the process.
Evaluating Rivals
This is something more advanced if you can say this way, at least practice has led me to make it simple, but it is also very easy to do; and it is to evaluate the rivals, now, you may wonder how to do it, well you only have to do a little research and you can get an idea of who you will face, the "Tournaments" are great, but, it is in this game mode that are the best players of all "Splinterlands" looking for glory, everyone wants to win and will not be merciful to you.
The good thing is that in the same option of "Tournaments", you can see the ones that have already finished, in the league or format you want, if you see several of them, you can see in the table of positions that are the most repeated players, once you have them, you can copy their ID, to look for their cards within the same game and see their CP (Collection Power), with this, you will see what you face, who are the strongest and where you should be careful.
Note: Of course, in the battles section if you copy that same ID, you can see the last battles he has played and if by chance you get those battles he played in the "Tournament" finished, you can see his game strategies; and even if you don't get them, you can see how he aligns his cards, which are his tactics and this kind of details, which cards he uses more frequently, all this is important.
Final Considerations
I hope this post will be very useful for the new players that are getting into the "Tournaments", it is imperative that they handle these details that I explained in this post, once they get used to it, I am sure that they will do very well, of course, there will be defeats, it is always painful to lose, but it is part of the process, so continue to hone your skills and win.
