I've tried all the anime games that will load on my devices and this is the only one that survived the delete button. I keep coming back to this game because of the beautiful animation, characters, and fast gameplay. I got into these anime games by trying Genshin Impact, but it was too much for my old iPad to handle. You need an iPhone 8 or better for that game, so I went down a notch and tried another game from miHoYo, Honkai Impact 3rd.
The open world feels like Breath of the Wild, but in Japan. The music is fantastic. The battle mechanics remind me of Batman a bit, but this is more of a smash em up game with RPG tendencies. If they would have made this a full RPG with good English voice overs, it would have been way more popular of a game, but I'm still enjoying it. If you can speak or are studying Japanese, then I think you'll enjoy this game more than players who don't. I'm going to keep playing this game until I find a better anime game that my devices can play or until I get a better device. If you're using an older device and would like to play a fun anime game, then I highly recommend Honkai Impact 3rd.
