Sometimes You Are Just Unlucky! TFT Set 11

Greetings, I hope you are having a good day. I don't have much time for TFT nowadays because my new job is exhausting me a lot. Nevertheless, I will share with you a game I played recently.

You can watch the gameplay video here:

Gold subscription is a universe you all know. At the beginning of each stage you get a random amount of gold. As the stages progress, the amount of gold increases.

Actually, I could have easily chosen something related to Storyweaver from the first augment and played it easily, but I have played it many times and shared it with you. So I chose the Mana Shield augment to try something different. This augment gives the friendly unit with the lowest health when Invoker champions use an ability a shield equal to 2 times the mana they use. So the more abilities you use, the more shields you get!

The early game was almost perfect for me. I was very close to a 5-win streak. In the last round, I lost the last round when my opponent came with 2 star Teemo and many more 2 star champions. It was sad but I can't do anything about it.

For the 2nd augment I chose Pandora's items, as I said this augment is too good for a silver augment. It allows you to adjust the items as you wish. I will need a lot of tear and ability power items.

This Garen augment is very broken. I'd like to play with it if I get it one day, but I'm very unlucky. I played once before this augment was buffed and I had a terrible game XD

Actually, I started the game lucky, I found Lillia early and that allowed me to win against my opponents or, if I lost, to have small losses. This allowed me to keep a good economy. The midgame was also pretty good.

For the last augment, I chose Magic Wand. This augment grants a skill power item and gives your units 18 skill power. It's the right choice since almost all my champions will have ability power.

My opponent playing Fortune has 2 star Hwei. We are still in the middle of the game haha. It shouldn't be hard to guess who will finish the game in 1st place, right?

I had an opponent playing Umbral and I beat him easily. I think he didn't know how to play the composition. He had a very complicated composition lol.

By the way, I was unlucky from this moment on. Lillia, the main carrier of the composition, never got 2 stars. Also Annie, my side carriers and main tank, was 1 star. Lillia's best items are Blue Buff, Rabadon's Deathcap and Jeweled Gauntlet. I think I made a mistake with Nashor's Tooth, especially at 1 star, it didn't do as much damage as I expected. I also couldn't find an Azir that would overpower my composition.

In the end, I managed to make these champions 2-stars, but they still weren't as strong as I wanted them to be. I also have to admit that this composition is experimental, so it's not something you can see on the internet. Probably the best version of this composition is played differently haha.

For example I don't know how I lost this fight, my opponent's only decent carrier is Kindred, I think he's overpowered otherwise I can't explain it lol.

I managed to hold on for a few more rounds but I couldn't do much more. Illaoi, Sett and Azir were 1 star when I died and that was despite spending a lot of gold. Amumu was 2 stars last turn XD So even if the composition was actually strong, I didn't get the chance to try it.

Thank you for reading, I hope you liked it. Don't forget to share your thoughts with me in the comments. I don't know when the next TFT post will come, so until then, see you all!
