Children of Morta come of age: Part 3

A game with graphics this primitive has absolutely no right to be as potent a player of the heart strings as it is. The narration, the animation; the voices and the sounds are all a melody of bittersweet sadness, struggle; and filled with moments of not being able to overcome that struggle every single time.

As a result, I am feeling as though Children of Morta is a hidden gem of a game, which makes you sit down and pay attention, unlike Krystal and I when we meander through the mechanics of areas.

I still don't expect for this game to hit as heavy as it does, but it does; and I'm pretty grateful for that - it is very nice to see a game touch on emotions so competently and consistently.

What a great game. I can't wait to play more next week.

If you haven't started playing Splinterlands, you should do that immediately. It's very good fun.
