EVA 2022 (Exposición de Videojuegos Argentina/Argentinian Expo of Videogames) alongside Steam are doing a festival to promote games made by my querido hermanos, irmãos, hermanas y/e irmãs!
It's very nice to see something like this representing the place I'm from right at the front page of Steam, and I'm sure it'll make a HUGE chunk of HIVE's userbase happy too xD
There aren't really many discounts here, but this is about showing what we latinos can do more than just discounts and saving up money. There are a lot of good games on display and it makes me legitimately happy.

As you can see from the "Finest in LATAM gaming" area, there are a lot of good games here, most of them indies (because I mean... not a whole lot of studios down here, ¿no?)
But one thing I've noticed being, well, latino, is that for some reason latino indie games are exceptionally good, even in lots of conditions where the environments are openly hostile to game-dev, be it with piracy or not enough financial incentives.
The second page of the expo is about each country individually, and the third page is just genres.
I legit didn't know Horizon Chase Turbo was a Brazilian game, lots of fun from that on EGS.
Gaúcho and the grasslands sounds VERY Brazilian but most games are total surprises for me, such as great job Colombia, for making CrisTales! One of the best RPGs I played on Gamepass.
Of course not all countries are represented, it's unfortunate that the indie game dev scene in most of latin America is small or non-existent. I was expecting some Venezuelan games to see how my compas are doing but unfortunately there are none.
Good to see that Uruguay made Fight N' Rage though, one of the best beat em' ups from my favorite nation in Latin America.
