Whether you love it or hate it (like me) the huge success of Warzone cannot be ignored.
Activision's Battle Royale game took the entire gaming genre a few steps further and set all the new games in the market a very high standard they have to meet.
Warzone's success has brought Activision a lot of money since it was launched and it seems that the games that came out after Warzone's success were meant to motivate it even further, or as Samuel wrote in his review to Vanguard: "The main thing is that the game will be released in time And weapons to Warzone.
Warzone's dizzying success does not seem to be coming to a halt but lately we are starting to hear more and more rumors about a sequel.
According to a tweet by Tom Henderson the new game is currently simply called Warzone 2 and according to Henderson it is expected to reach the current generation consoles and the computer when it will not contain weapons from the first game and there will be no integration between them at all.
Warzone 2 will most likely be a brand new game with all that entails. Since Henderson's initial tweet the rumors surrounding Warzone 2 are spreading like wildfire but as always we will mention that these are just rumors and should take you on limited bail although we will also mention that Tom Henderson brought a number of times very reliable information that turned out to be accurate.
Right now all we have are rumors and the original Warzone to pass the time with.
Apparently we will have to give time to do its thing and bring us new details, in the meantime we hope that the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard by Microsoft will not hurt the development of new games.
