Black Cat finally decided to lighten up and accept Spider-Man's offer to help with her problems with Hammerhead. She claims that her child is being held captive, which may or may not be Peter's kid. This is excellent motivation to have Spidey assist in a few stealth scenarios. Black Cat normally has no problem alone, but some jobs are just too big for one person.

Spider-Man and Black Cat make a really great team. They can both take out enemies silently and that makes missions a whole lot easier. Things were going so well, but I knew it was all too good to be true. Something had to be up.

Turns out that Black Cat was just using Spider-Man yet again. All of this for financial gain and getting back at Hammerhead and the Maggia for killing the old Black Cat, which was actually Felica Hardy's dad Walter Hardy. Hammerhead says Black Cat's betrayal coming though and rigged her penthouse with explosives.

Black Cat locked Spider-Man in a vault, so he wasn't able to get to her to help in time. It appears that she may have been blown to bits. Perhaps things are not as they seem though. A body was never recovered, so maybe Felicia faked her death like her father Walter did.
