Will you be getting a PS5?

Preorders have already become quite the mess. Sony announced a price and release date at the end of the livestream, but failed to mention when preorders would go live. Shortly afterwards, they sent out this tweet.

Plus they previously had made it possible for loyal PlayStation customers to sign up for a preorder opportunity directly through Sony.

Right after the tweet, stores such as Walmart, Target, Best Buy, GameStop, and Amazon started making their preorders available, a day early. There was no official reply from Sony about this. The preorders sold out everywhere almost immediately. Leaving many of those loyal PlayStation customers up in the air about how they will be getting there PS5 on launch day.

Most still haven’t received an email form Sony to preorder directly from them and there was no notification from Sony about all of the mentioned retailers making their preorder available a day early. Not looking good for Sony PR right now.

Here is to hoping that those preorders become obtainable, or else there are going to be a lot of unhappy customers who were waiting patiently with their money in hand.

As of right now, Sony still has not even acknowledged the fact that they set a preorder time and then all of the retailers jumped the gun a day early. Yet Sony has been sending out tweets all day promoting all of the new PS5 games. That’s 2020 for ya 🤣
