This monkey deserved to live
In this video, I take my first steps on Iki Island in Ghost of Tsushima. This new island is not a place where Jin Sakai is welcome. He is hated by the locals due to his deceased father's past actions. The Eagle has control of the Mongols on Iki and is a powerful shaman waiting to ruin Jin. There is nothing good awaiting the Ghost, yet he continues on in order to help those in need.
I had a rough arrival to Iki, my boat crashed and I lost my horse in the process. While exploring and searching for my horse, I stumbled upon a destroyed shrine. It was there that I found caged monkeys being tortured by Mongols. I felt it was my essential duty to step in and save the monkeys. Once I slaughtered the Mongols, the monkeys were still timid towards me. I was able to play an ancient tune on my flute, which convinced a monkey to come close to me. Once he warmed up, I fed the monkey a juicy apple and we became friends.
I hope you enjoy the video. Iki Island is absolutely gorgeous and it shows quite well in this 4K resolution. I wonder what other kinds of animals await discovery on Iki Island. Come back soon to find out.
