Brothers—Gameplay-Fiction-Pt 4 | Music And The Free Bird

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is an adventure game with a unique style. When I played, it shared a feel-good emotion. The music and the scenarios are just great, they could easily create a special vibe for this magical world. It's a tale that happens in the world of fantasy, so there's a lot of mystical things which makes the experience more engaging.

Here I tried to make it a gameplay fiction based this game. The game uses some kind of a distinctive language, which's just made for the game. All the character's talks in that language. So here in this fiction, I tried to write the dialogues in English and made some little changes in the dialogues to for the depth of the story.

You can find the game at the Steam Store

All other images are the screenshots I took from the game.

This's the Fourth Part of the fiction, you can find the first one here, the second one here and the third one here

They both looked at the big gate with a sad face. They knew that no ones gonna come to help them to enter inside and pass the bridge to enter the other village.Even if they knew that fact, Naia knocked on the wooden gate and called for someone to come.

Both the brothers were stunned for a second, by the beauty of the village in that peculiar sunlight. Everything around them was of a golden colour, the leaves the paths and even the sky. The first thing they saw was an old woman, she was sitting in front of her little house. There were some chickens on the side of that house. This old lady was sitting on a wooden chair, they both walked towards her. There was also a little girl, who was playing basketball on the other side of the house.

Naiee walked towards the old woman, she was in some kind of a sleepy mode, Naiee shook her chair. That chilled her a little bit, she was kind of laughing. The old woman looked at this little kid with a little bit of amusement.

"I haven't seen you here before, are you Diya's friend ?", the old lady asked this little kid out of her amusement.

"No, we are new here. We are travelling to find a cure for the illness of our father." Naiee was saying this with a little bit of sadness. The old woman spotted it, she really knew something was wrong.

There was a silence for a few seconds. Naia walked towards the lady and shown her the map of the place where they were going.

"We are going towards the Tree of Life?" Naia said.

"Tree Of Life !!, it's a bit risky. Always look out for your brother on the path." There was both wonder and sadness in her face. She also knew that it's full of adventures.

"It's that way crossing the river", she pointed them the path through which they are needed to head towards. Both Naia and Naiee said her goodbye and starter walking. Naiee looked at the little girl who was playing basketball, he tried to talk to her a bit, but Naiee already had started walking, so he joined him.

There was a lot of houses around them, the little ones and their small fences to separate them. They walked towards the edge of the path, they could see some houses below and river flowing under them. Then thet saw it, the path was blocked by a small wooden gate, which was near a small house. There was a well made with stones in front of the house. Naiee walked towards it and looked at it.

At this time Naia tried to pull the gate forwards to cross the path, but he couldn't. Naiee joined him, they pushed the gate together for opening it. The gate opened it and they passed. Leaves were falling out of trees, that was also magical. In front of them, there was a bridge and also a path that leads towards a man's house, who was playing the harp. They both loved music, they headed towards the house.

Naia reached towards the harp player and tried to play something, he was not that much good at it. But Naiee was good at it, he came and played a note. It was beautiful, a chill for the journey.

"Great Kid", the man said.

Naiee smiled, then they didn't try to waste much time there. They started walking, through the left side of the house there was a small path through the river instead of crossing the bridge. Both of them walked crossing the water.

As they reached the other side, they saw it. The road was closed, a drunk man was sitting there, there is a bottle of wine in his hand. Naia walked towards him and tried to show the map.

"We need to reach this place and......" The drunkard didn't even give him even the time to complete his words.

"Go away..., Go away" He tried to push them away.

"We could try this path". Naiee said it pointing towards the small path, which leads down to a hayfield.

"Yeah we could try that", Naia said it and both of them started walking towards. The field was already harvested. As they reached towards the field, someone smelled those little steps. It was a masculine dog who was the watcher for the field. They were standing at the rock ledge, this dog came towards them continuously barking from the other side.

They both had fear inside, but they didn't show it outside. They knew that this's something so little that they have to face. The Dog was near Naia, just below the rock ledge he was standing. There was a pretty length in between the rock ledge of the sides, there was a few hay bales in between the path. These hay bales also had the height as much as of the rock ledge.

"Naiee we need to fool this dog to cross this path." Naiee didn't even wait for a second, he jumped from the rock ledge. Dog saw him and followed him, but Naiee ran and jumped up to the nearest hay bales. It worked, Now it was Naia's turn and he did the same. Going with these for few rounds. They reached the other side rock ledge.

They have come too far, there were branches on the rock in front of them. They grabbed it and climbed up.

They were on top of all the villages, there was a cliff. Naiee walked towards it, they could see the path they have crossed down there. They could see all the journey they have come through. There was a bench on the cliff and next to that there's a small cage, a bird was in it. Naiee walked towards it and opened the cage, the bird flew out. Naiee said goodbye to him. That little bird flew away.
