Mortal Shell | Crucix, The Twice Born Beaten In First Try | Knotted Shell Presented To Prisoner | Interesting Temple Structure | Met A Certain Prisoner Atop The Tower | With Commentary

There are a bunch of stuff that needs to be addressed.

Getting in a pinch is an everyday activity of mine in the game. I have been killed many times for which I have gained the art of running XD. I was unable to move from the guards here as their phase of attack was beginning AND there was a blockage behind me so I couldn’t move. I also had low health but somehow saved myself.

I didn’t clear my way until I had conversed with sister Ganessa. I was seeing that an enemy swordsman was creeping up. I thought to myself, surely the guy would stop as I am in the middle of a conversation. Nope, the guy came close and swung his sword, displacing me from the talk and reduced quite a bit of my health. I died here BUT I regenerated here too XD. The talk with Ganessa had saved my progress, it wasn’t meaningless.

Eredrim was almost complete. I had more than 8k tar by the time I had entered the temple. Didn’t have enough glimpses though.

I, then, used a glimpse of futility and got the Accretion Of Foresight. It provided a 5% damage reduction for 10s after a kill.

Then, I decided to clear the space a bit. I approached a few enemies and got them, a guard proceeded towards me. Got him and right then another guard charged me, as you can see above, no peace in the game. My fingers were almost tired by then.

This was the base of the tower. Well built and well placed guards made attacking difficult. I cleared them and climbed upwards. To may surprise, the archer positioned in the middle just charged at me to melee, made the whole thing easier.

Upwards I went until I was in a room of enemies, stagnant. Almost looked like a court room, the huge judge with the hammer, the two defendants in front of him. The accuser and accused were roaming about in the edge part of the room.

I then met an interesting NPC. My friend had suggested me to take Harros, The Vassal.

I used the Harros effigy and a different conversation took place altogether. I received a glimpse of admiration from him. Then I reverted back to Eredrim and continued the journey. I went both ways looking to continue the adventure and saw that the path in the middle carried on.

When venturing the sides, I came back toward the tower as I saw something shiny. A Bengali proverb came to my mind,”ওতি লোভে তাঁতি নষ্ট।” Meaning, huge greed leads to destruction. The fall was huge too… didn’t fall though.

Before entering the place I met sister Ganessa again. This time she was huge! I used the opportunity to acquire another ability for Eredrim.

I got many glimpses along the way, from climbing and eliminating the enemies throughout. Another thing I noticed was that, after sipping the divine tar that Ganessa provided my health stat was back to full! An amazing news and then I realised that the game used Tar as a resource and we get tar from killing the enemies. She provided the divine tar hence the health boost.

I never saw a video on how to clear the level, I also didn’t know that I had to use harden here as it was a trap.

The conjoined boss arrived from the distance. Terrifying at first glance but after going toe to toe I realised, it was easy. Very easy compared to Tarsus, the first martyr. Got him on my first try too.

I decided to use Tiel here. My reasoning was, the most stamina in a shell is provided by Tiel. After claiming the gland, I would have to run and who better than the master of fog himself. Eredrim would be tired out frequently. With one sharp tug, Tiel removed the gland from the creature. It was the knotted gland.

This part is in the 53:47 where I begin my run.

The rest of the gameplay is there for you guys to watch as it gets pretty dark and I cannot provide pictures from my gameplay as it would be equal to seeing a white page, nothing would be visible. I provided one here as evidence. This part had 13 archers ready for me, to take down a shell with low health stat, Tiel.

The entrance to the temple had 3 guards now. Previously it had one. I saved the location progress by waking up sister Ganessa and darted for the entrance/exit.

I, then ran as quickly as I could to the prisoner. Gave him the gland and he flew from the place. No destruction to the tower whatsoever. I thought, maybe it was a game thing but no he went inside a hole.

I, then upgraded my Hammer and Chisel as my hallowed sword was fully maxed. Only the shield was left to complete.

With this, I could get a 2 hit kill to the local enemies. Didn’t try on the larger ones though.

Obtained more ability for Eredrim, only 2 more left to fully max this one. I used the glimpse of admiration received by the prisoner. It gave 10 glimpses.

For Tiel, I had 22 glimpses on the guy. I decided to attain some more ability. Both tar and glimpse were full to the brim. Here also, 2 more abilities left to max.

With the huge amount of tar in my possession, about 11k, I headed straight to the merchant above the tower. I always pet the cat.

I was 2 hitting the enemies with the hammer along with Solomon, the scholar. Then I decided to head back to the temple where a prisoner awaited his demise, to the top of the tower I went back.

F65CC675-1A4A-4261-858C-39CDE2639EF3.jpeg

I used Eredrim’s effigy and administered the fate that Eredrim had committed to the prisoner’s brethers before. This gave me a glimpse of cowardice. This also provided me 10 glimpses.

In the end, I was left with the final task. To take down the monster I had created. To defeat the prisoner I fed the glands to.

Enjoy the gameplay.
