Hello people, hope all of you are doing good. A lot of action this gameplay. A lot of things covered in this episode. I skipped a lot of bosses and am showing you the gameplay I am currently at. I will try to show the gameplay of the previous bosses and explored locations but I feel like I have to show a glimpse of my current status. I still am going with a balanced build, I have all the stats close to one another so that during the rebirth I can select a proper build.
First off, the Gargoyle that gave me suffering for an hour and 20 minutes plus. This Valiant Gargoyle and a Twinblade Gargoyle show up together. The twinblade shows up after the first one’s HP drops by half. It took me a lot of time to adjust to their pace albeit their attack pattern was memorised by me. I kept dying due to the bad timing of my attacks, basically you cannot rush the game. If they want to draw the battle for 10 minutes you have to plan for a head stretching for half an hour. This sort of patient, calm, and composed nature should he,o you against many bosses to come.
This time however I got the first one’s health lower than half and then the second one came out.
Yeah, got them after a “calm” fight. I let out a sigh of relief when it was over. They gave me 20’ rune though😒. Not enough I say!
The place where it all went down, the underground city of Nokron area which was connected with another underground city. This was where the Regal ancestral spirit resided. This was my second regal ancestral spirit. Here, I again had to activate the area by lighting 6 torches that were well hidden throughout the land.
There was a small advantage to it, my farming spot was covered. These giants were walking dummies and I had farmed from them about 30-40k runes. They just stood there while I was readying my charged attack with the Halberd. Yeah, still rolled with the drop item from my first enemy, Tree Sentinel.
Apart from the normal giants I found a giant within the open area through exploring. A Dragokin soldier.
Took 2 tries to end his suffering…
A good weapon drop I’d say. Also, the rune drop was garbage, a mere 6k rune. The weapon made it worth while.
After finding and lighting 6 torches I went to the spirit location where it’s remains remained, at Hallow Horn Grounds.
The environment was amazing to say the least.
I must say that this was probably the most elegant boss I had fought in a while apart from the Witch of the moon.
Suddenly, a weird thing happened and the spirit dematerialised. Vanished and turned to dust. His health bar was still there though.
I roamed for a bit and found a goat, I slashed it but my sword went through.
A little later and saw that the enemy was felled, I was gobsmacked and immediately burst out laughing thinking that I had broken the game somehow and got some free runes, I wasn’t wrong though.
Then I arrived at the spot that I had retreated from the last time thinking that I was under-levelled. I wasn’t wrong. I was now a level 96. Felt confident.
The area was filled with these little gnomes. They each gave a good 1k rune and the area was pretty much covered with them. 2 good hits and I got 1k rune. That made this location a great farming spot for the upper-levelled people.
The only thing that I wasn’t happy that it was existing, the Black Blade Kindred.
After another gruelling hour of battling I got the guy. I already knew his attack patterns from the last gargoyle by Nokron City but this one was much more lethal.
Got a good 88k rune, I already had 30k+ rune which made it a whopping 111k rune. I used some rune stone and made it 112k and upgrade twice. It gave nice drops too.
I was now a level 98. So close to a 100… I upgraded faith and mind as I was looking into the possibility of switching to mage build and avoid the 1 on 1 fight with the bosses in the future.
This was the prize, the thing that the Black Blade Kindred was defending, a prisoner who wanted to eat… a deathroot and in return he gave me an eye and claw. Not sure if they can be used as talisman or not.
