A raíz de ello se crea un portentoso mapa personalizado titulado como Defense of the Ancients o más bien conocido normalmente por su siglas como DotA. Este asombroso mapa primeramente fue creado con el editor mundos del juego original (Warcraft III: Riegn of Chaos) por un usuario que no recuerdo su nombre. Tiempo después se fue perfeccionando con nuevas actualizaciones por el editor de mundos de la expansión The Frozen Throne, que fue cuando se creó la versión que volvió popular al juego, la cual se conoce como Allstars. A partir de una versión en específica, entra una persona que se llamar IceFrog, desarrollo nuevas versiones del juego que, en poco tiempo hizo que se ganara nuestros corazones, con cada una de sus características implementadas en el escenario.

Debido a la reputación que alcanzaron estos juegos, llevo a cabo crear una nueva categoría juego que actualmente se conoce MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena). Hoy en día cuando vas a jugar por primera vez un videojuego de este género, de segura vas a empezar con algunos de estos juegos, por lo cual son League of Legens (LoL) y Dota 2, dado que este par de juegos son los más famosos en este género, pues, considero que estos dos juegos están en competencia porque uno fue el primero en revolucionar este género, (LoL) y el segundo por ser la secuela del primer juego que impulso a crear dicho género (Dota 2), Además de otros títulos conocidos como Arena of Valor, Smite, Heroes of the Storm entre otros.
