I will let this song speak for itself, after nearly 4 years of avoiding this truth-based musical piece, 3 testimony experiences in rap form based on true stories, two of which have been altered. Verse 2 is unaltered and completely true.
I finally completed it, and now I can contact at least one of the three people who shared their experiences with me and showcase it to them finally, that their story is out into the world.

"The Unloved"

"We were made in God's Image and God is Love..."
"This is the reason why we should be Love, and be loved...
Not unloved..."

Story 1
Verse 1:
Lonely and forgotten was his life as an orphan
He drowned amongst the fishes 'cause he didn't have oar-fins
Wasn't taught how to swim, they didn't think it important
'Til his body was discovered floating, bloated, and dormant

A 4 year old kid, pale skin, blue, absorbent
Found above the river, now delivered from torment
He wasn't treated right, police had sent an informant
Orphanage had used the children as a means for endorsements

They treated him the worst, they only spent on him four cents
They had failed to shelter him, his home was a torn tent
His clothes were so worn, rent, knew exactly what poor meant
He cried a flood of tears, it created a torrent

Beginning to the end, his life was so morbid
Favorite flowers in his hands, they gave a fistful of Orchids
Sympathetic paramedics just cried over his carcass
They watched an ambulance retrieve him, leaving the car kissed...

Chorus:
This is the reason why we should be "LOVE"
This is the reason why we should be Loved
This is the reason why we should be "LOVE"
Be Loved
Not Unloved…(x4)

Story 2
Verse 2:
She was just a little girl, broken down just like her home
Step parent was abusive, often left her alone
Forced to be responsible for two baby siblings
A young kid raising two children, is a bittersweet feeling...

Step mother chain-smoking, stayed talking up on the phone
Children unoccupied, outside, all on their own
Step mother friend's son was living out the garage
He was strange, and would stare at the kids like a mirage

He had sick thoughts and plots inside his lodge
Innocent little girl didn't see it, and couldn't dodge
He caught her off guard, tried offering a massage
Only six years old, he hurt her like a barrage

Molested and abused, so used, and now discouraged
She wanted to tell somebody but didn't have then the courage
Dealt with all the pain, tongue-tied, without the wordage
Childhood was ever blemished and damaged, she couldn't flourish

More pain to come, she couldn't run from the disturbance
Molested once again by her Father and brother, hurtin'!!!
She could never feel at home, no matter how it was furnished...
Traumatized, burned inside, her thighs, a red furnace!

School wasn’t safe, caution and yellow tape…
1st day of 7th grade, she's barely escaping rape!
Cold world is getting bolder, she’s trying to find a place
Only to end up in an apartment with three men and gang raped!

Many dark nights she slept through
Nightmares replayed and crept through...
Wooden floors' where she wept too
Just hoping she would be rescued...
She stayed with her best friend for the summer of ’74
Best friend’s uncle and his neighbour molested, not letting go!

Totally devastated, manipulated and hated!
The Love that she should have gotten, was rotten and partly faded
…She should’ve stayed with Grandma, then maybe she would’ve made it
And none of this would have happened, her soul is broken and jaded…

Chorus:
This is the reason why we should be LOVE
This is the reason why we should be Loved
This is the reason why we should be LOVE
Be Loved
Not Unloved…

Story 3
Verse 3:
He was a rebel to the fullest... rudest, ruleless and foolish
He hung out with the losers, abusers to be the coolest
Influencers and convincers peer pressured him, very bullish
...His healthy body suffered so quickly to looking ghoulish

Partying was his pleasure, women were often naked
Any drink he would buy it and every drug he would take it
Darkness would then consume him, and through him would "it" awaken
He became a different person, emerging, cursin, and raging

People 'round him had suffered, his violence would make you shudder
Relentless just like a blizzard in winter, not being covered
Brawler and reckless slugger, no morals, aggressive mugger
Mirror-matching of his father and uncles straight from the gutter

...With no true sense of guidance, his only true source of comfort
Was a picture of his mother, kept safely inside his cupboard
He missed and truly loved her, Her Murder he had discovered...
...Came home from a field trip, her body still under covers!

Father had punched her upward, the bed was where she was smothered
...Son was now all hysteric, the father "just made him supper"
...Told him that he was 'stubborn and useless just like his mother!'
...Then the Anger took him over, the son had just gotten tougher...

He snuck into the kitchen, went grabbing the nearest cutter
Stabbing his father's back…was using it like a plunger...
...Police had broke the door down, the house was a reddish color...
Black birds were on the roof that day and none were buzzards...

Chorus:
This is the reason why we should be LOVE
This is the reason why we should be Loved
This is the reason why we should be LOVE
Be Loved
Not Unloved…(x4)

Important Side Note: I am happy to say the little 6 year old girl from Story 2 Verse 2, grew up to be a kindhearted beautiful woman of God, who is now a grandmother to many grandchildren, but it took her over 40 years to be comfortable to even share this story with me. I've known her since my childhood and she is like a mother figure to me wholeheartedly. She is definitely Loved.
Pain can be devastating, traumatizing and longlasting but each of these moments bring life lessons, and in the grand scheme of a timeless existence of everlasting life once we pass on and die, the temporary pain we experience on earth is small in comparison to the whole perspective of why we are here and our necessary faith and salvation through Jesus Christ. God Bless You All.
