It’s a joy to be participating in the competition this week; I had to take time off reading for my exams for this one! I’ve always wanted to sing a song by the Beatles, and what perfect timing!
I encountered the Beatles’ music through a movie titled Yesterday. It was about a guy who had a crash, and when he woke up from the event, the entire world knew nothing about the Beatles, so he had to reintroduce the music. The song I’m presenting today was played at the end of the movie. While replaying this particular scene, I heard my parents humming the song, and I was shocked, but of course they would know the song. What was I thinking? I’m therefore dedicating this one to them, a cheer to life.
