El Corazón roto es una metáfora describiendo un inmenso dolor que sentimos los seres humanos cuando somos rechazados o en la perdida de algún ser querido por causa del desamor.

este síndrome se manifiesta de manera emocional como también de manera física.

los que lo padecen suelen tener dolores en el pecho, taquicardia, dolores de cabeza, mareos y debilidad muscular.

el ser rechazado por una persona es un dolor muy infravalorado, muchos tientan contra su vida y se desvelan esperando algo que nunca sucederá, como le decimos por estos lares, tirarse al abandono.

Recordemos que para amar a otros debemos amarnos a nosotros mismos primero, y eso fue lo que trato de dar a entender el parroquiano Astolfo Romero cuando compuso este tema tan controversial.

y porque es tan controversial? recordemos que koquimba es una agrupación que en sus inicios no fue muy bien vista por los puristas y detractores de un nuevo estilo denominado Cacharro (Trancado) un estilo de gaita nuevo y mas moderno.

aparte con las influencias del vallenato koquimba le da un estilo mas costeño colombiano a la gaita, una Revolucion la cual lidero con la agrupación Gran Coquivacoa, quienes ya habían grabado un disco en el Binomio de oro Fusionando Gaita y Vallenato.

de estas influencias salen las magnificas ideas de astolfo romero con sus letras y tonadas costeñas colombianas transformadas a gaita.

este tema tiene un precedente histórico debido a que luego de que astolfo grabara este tema, años después sufriría un infarto fulminante que acabaría con su vida.
