Queridos amigos y amigas, me gustaría compartir con ustedes una experiencia muy especial que me llena de emoción y nostalgia. La canción que estoy interpretando en este importante concurso internacional, #Vibes #Web3, es un recuerdo de cuando cante por primera vez, en un festival de la voz liceísta en la escuela granja de San Francisco de Asís, en el hermoso estado Aragua, pueblo vecino de la parroquia Villa de Cura. Aquella experiencia fue un hito en mi vida, un momento que cimentó mi amor por la música y el arte de interpretar.
Este tema es un hermoso ejemplo del folclor, una joya cultural que está cargada de esa pasión por la música que todos compartimos y valoramos profundamente. La canción, escrita por el talentoso Julio Miranda, un destacado cantautor del amor y del folklore, representa la esencia misma de nuestra cultura. Su ritmo alegre, conocido como "zumba que zumba", se encuentra en un tono menor; comenzamos en Sol menor y luego hacemos un cambio a Re mayor, lo que le otorga una frescura y alegría inigualables.
Es una melodía que evoca sentimientos de identidad nacional, patriotismo y unidad entre nosotros. Sin embargo, debo mencionar que hoy en día debemos ser más cautelosos al interpretar ciertos temas. A diferencia de años atrás, cuando podíamos cantar canciones patrióticas que también hacían críticas al sistema de la época con libertad, ahora se ha vuelto más complicado navegar por esas aguas.
A lo largo de mi carrera, he compuesto varios temas entre 1985 y 2004 que fueron emitidos por algunas emisoras locales. Sin embargo, actualmente es difícil escucharlos en el aire, lo cual es un reflejo del cambiante panorama musical y en todo ámbito.
A pesar de este contexto desafiante, quiero expresar mis mejores deseos a todos los participantes del concurso y a quienes ven los videos en las diversas plataformas digitales. Una de las más destacadas hoy en día es 3speak, que brinda un valioso apoyo a los creadores de contenido audiovisual. Este respaldo es esencial y representa un acto noble que valora el esfuerzo artístico y la dedicación que cada uno pone en su trabajo creativo.
En este viaje musical, cada nota y cada letra cuentan una historia; son reflejos de nuestras vivencias y emociones compartidas. Dear friends, I would like to share with you a very special experience that fills me with emotion and nostalgia. The song that I am performing in this important international competition, #Vibes #Web3, is a memory of when I sang for the first time, at a high school voice festival at the San Francisco de Asís farm school, in the beautiful state of Aragua, a town neighbor of the Villa de Cura parish. That experience was a milestone in my life, a moment that cemented my love for music and the art of performing.
This piece is a beautiful example of folklore, a cultural gem that is filled with that passion for music that we all share and deeply value. The song, written by the talented Julio Miranda, a prominent singer-songwriter of love and folklore, represents the very essence of our culture. Its vibrant rhythm, known as "zumba que zumba," is in a minor key; we start in G minor and then shift to D major, giving it an unmatched freshness and joy. It is a melody that evokes feelings of patriotism and unity among us. However, I must mention that nowadays we need to be more cautious when interpreting certain themes. Unlike years ago, when we could sing patriotic songs that also critiqued the system of the time freely, it has now become more complicated to navigate those waters.
Throughout my career, I have composed several pieces between 1985 and 2004 that were aired on some local stations. However, currently, it is difficult to hear them on the air, which reflects the changing musical landscape and in every sphere. Despite this challenging context, I want to express my best wishes to all the participants in the competition and to those who watch the videos on various digital platforms. One of the most prominent today is 3speak, which provides valuable support to audiovisual content creators. This backing is essential and represents a noble act that values the artistic effort and dedication each one puts into their creative work.
In this musical journey, every note and every lyric tells a story; they are reflections of our shared experiences and emotions. I hope to convey all that positive energy through my performance and connect with you in a profound and unforgettable way. Thank you for being part of this adventure!
