Let's Take A Look At 7 Days To Die

7 Days to Die is an open world game with aspects of first person shooter, a survival horror and RPG elements. Also added on top is a kind of tower defense where you build a little base to survive in.

Released on Steam in 2013 for PC in early access it was an instant must have game for me.
Around 100+ hours in and I still have no idea what I'm even doing except having fun.

Solo play is alot of my game time and it is a good game to play on your own. But it really does open up to a whole new level when there is a few of you playing.
Apart from the fun banter between players, you get a lot further without dying and progress at a much better speed than solo play.

A great aspect of the game is the world is pretty much all destroy able. Do you want to dig into a mountain and build a house? Then yes this is possible and can be really fun making tunnels and all sorts of entertainment.
If you don't plan your builds though you will see them crumble as this ain't no Minecraft with floating placeables that hold up thousands of blocks on only 1 block.

Graphically the game has improved vastly from original release and as of now is a fairly nice and tidy looking game.

Year of release: 2013
Developer: The Fun Pimps as of now
Genre: Open world survival horror RPG
Rating out of 10: 8
Why you should play it: If you enjoy open world games with zombies and baddies then this is for you.
It is hard at first but you get there and manage to progress. You will most likely die loads but you do learn each time.
