Just like the title says we'll be doing good old Three Tune Tuesday, I hope you enjoy some nice Rock 'n' Roll because that is the theme of the day. I decided to throw in a progression from early to later bands producing some great music over the years. I nearly went back to Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, or some Deep Purple, but decided that's for another week.
To lead off today's festivities I decided to go with a nice safe bet that everyone will enjoy. I've shared a few songs from these guys in the past. A nice little Australian band that brought us some Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Highway To Hell, and Back In Black. That's right we're starting off with some good old AC/DC from 1980: You Shook Me All Night Long
Now we come to the middle song, which can always be interesting. If you've ever seen The Simpsons every year they put out a Halloween episode called Halloween Of Horror. It's always split into three short stories and the joke is the middle on is never the best. Hopefully that won't happen here today.
We're leaving Australia behind to go to a band I've always liked from Garden Grove, California. For this one we jump ahead into the 1990's. Although they formed the band in 1983 they never hit any mainstream success in the mid 1990's. It must have been a very long ten years... I'm talking about The Offspring with: Gotta Get Away
To wind up today's musical event I decided to jump yet again into the future to 2016. Volbeat is a band from Copenhagen, Denmark that have been around since 2001. Fronted by Michael Poulsen, the band's name apparently was derived from Vol. Beat (volume beat) which was the name of the an album he had produced with his former band Dominus. They are a hard rock/ heavy metal band that are still producing good music to this day. This song is called: The Devil's Bleeding Crown
