Hello everyone!

Today I expected to have a rather lazy day once again, guess what, once again, it wasn't as lazy as I had expected. Before noon, I did several chores and in the afternoon I had to do groceries, clean the house and arrange a couple of things. Stopped by at my parents house as well and cooked the dinner. Ofcourse these things all have to happen, so not complaining, it just turned out differently as expected. Tomorrow I will help in a pop-up bar so won't be a quiet day neither. Will try to prepare dinner before noon so save some time in the evening. But now onto what I wanted to talk about: 'I am a developer', or that's atleast what people rapidly say.

In the WOO Discord the topic was started by a fellow WOO enthousiast. He asked if more developers are being searched as the bullrun is coming closer and closer. Bookerman, the CEO of WOO answered that they have had plenty of developers but that only one is really in it for the long haul: tobias-g (aka the GOAT). All the others which have passed by, never really contributed much and just ran with their payment which they asked in advance. My first reaction was: why would you accept a payment in advance. Like I've never done a job which was paid (partly) in advance. But apparently it's a common practice as developers are being searched after so hard. Thus they can kind of ask their conditions in the negotiations. Several ones have passed by already and I truely hope another decent one will arise. I think it could help WOO out really well, as the game development would accelerate further while all the other cilinders could continue firing as they are now. Think about all the partnerships and the sales of merchandise to fuel the WOO ecosystem even more!

Conclusion

WOO could definitely use some more developers but it isn't easy nowadays to find good developers who are able to effectively code instead of just blabla...

What is WOO?

WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They are bringing back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The game launched in 2024. It's an autobattler in the theme of wrestling. There are 3 undercard events and 1 main event. Winning an undercard event gives you 1 point and winning the main event gives you 2 points, so 5 points are what we're fighting for. There are wrestler NFT's and manager NFT's which gives bonuses to the wrestlers. When you win a game, you'll earn $WOO, the governance token of WOO, making it a real #play2earn game!
