As explained earlier, I am having busy weeks, both irl and at work. As Holidays are coming close, several projects have to be finished. In my personal life, we got a dog, for those of you who are on threads, you probably already have seen pictures of Molly. I'll maybe make an introduction post for her as well soon. But today I wanted to talk about WOO as a lot is going on.

Earlier this week, the summer of WOO has been announced. You can find more information here. As you can read, over 3k $HIVE can be won through various events. Thus why aren't you participating?

Splinterlands partnership

Don't you have already a bookers license? For those of you who aren't aware what a bookers license is, it's like a Splinterlands spellbook, letting you earn rewards for playing the game. If you buy a bookers license during the summer of WOO, which is held from 21 June to 21 September, utilizing sps or dec, than these will be burned and you'll receive a starter set to play the game. Awesome, isn't it?

Claim your rewards

WOO is a play 2 earn game, thus you expect to earn something. That's completely correct! By winning games and/or holding land, you can win $WOO. Since this week you can claim your winnings. Rewards were already being handed out but you couldn't claim them yet, to be sure there were no exploits. But now you can claim all of these!

What is WOO?

WOO, aka Wrestling Organization Online is an upcoming play2earn game on the Hive blockchain about wrestling. They are bringing back territory wrestling, where the wrestlers are tradeable nft's. The game launched in 2024. It's an autobattler in the theme of wrestling. There are 3 undercard events and 1 main event. Winning an undercard event gives you 1 point and winning the main event gives you 2 points, so 5 points are what we're fighting for. There are wrestler NFT's and manager NFT's which gives bonuses to the wrestlers. When you win a game, you'll earn $WOO, the governance token of WOO, making it a real #play2earn game!
