(RP) This vision of a luminous streak in the sky was indeed an omen.
Last night we witnessed a veritable shower of shooting stars over the VILLAGE, which was very impressive and even a little frightening.
We all made our traditional wishes, then spent a good part of the evening trying to guess each other's wishes, which was great fun.

Nous avons assisté cette nuit à une vraie pluie d'étoiles filantes au dessus du VILLAGE, c'était très impressionnant et même un peu effrayant.
Nous avons tous fait des vœux comme le veut la tradition, puis passé une bonne partie de la soirée à essayer de deviner les vœux des autres, c'était très amusant.
(RP) But the most astonishing thing is that this strange man, who for the past few days had been scribbling in his notebook and casting worried glances at the sky, remained perfectly calm, as if he'd been expecting this event, and even seemed relieved.
He's now less agitated and we've been able to communicate with him, who turns out to be a traveling astronomer seeking to validate his theories on the stars. I didn't quite understand all his speech, which remains a little febrile, as he seems to be still searching for something.
In fact, he's managed to convince us all to set off on an expedition first thing tomorrow morning to try and collect as many of those little bits of star that have fallen nearby as possible, as they'd be of great importance to his research.
He says it's a real treasure, and spirits run high in the discussions at the inn, with everyone seeing themselves as rich already.
So the village will be empty all day tomorrow, sorry for the usual visitors, but come back after tomorrow to find out the result of this expedition.
I think it's a good idea for us all to go hiking together and explore the surrounding area, and if it makes this astronomer happy, so much the better. I'm beginning to like him, even if he still has a nasty tendency to leave his papers lying around.
On one of them, I saw that he also drew troubadours, a character full of surprises!
I'm going to empty my pockets of their papers so I can travel lighter.
(RP) Mais le plus étonnant est que cet homme étrange qui les jours derniers griffonnait dans son carnet en jetant des regards inquiets vers le ciel est resté parfaitement calme, comme si il s'attendait à cet évènement, il a même semblé soulagé.

Il est désormais moins agité et nous avons pu communiquer avec lui, il s'avère être un astronome voyageur cherchant à valider ses théories sur les astres, je n'ai pas tout compris à son discours qui reste un peu fébrile, il semble chercher encore quelque chose.
.
En fait, il a réussi à nous convaincre de partir tous en expédition demain matin à la première heure pour essayer de récolter le maximum de ces petits bouts d'étoiles qui sont tombés à proximité, ils seraient d'une grande importance pour ses recherches.
Il dit que c'est un vrai trésor et les esprits s'enflamment dans les discutions à l'auberge, chacun se voyant déjà devenir riche.

Le village sera donc vide toute la journée demain, désolé pour les visiteurs habituels, mais revenez après demain pour découvrir le résultat de cette expédition.

Je me dis que c'est une bonne idée de partir randonner tous ensemble, et explorer les environs, et si ça fait plaisir à cet astronome tant mieux, je commence a avoir de l'affection pour lui, même si il garde une facheuse tendance à laisser trainer ses papiers partout.

Sur l'un d'eux, j'ai vu qu'il dessinait aussi des troubadours, c'est un personnage plein de surprises !

Je vais vider mes poches de leurs papiers afin de voyager plus léger.
