THE VILLAGE DIARY:
A beautiful pink-haired druidess made us an offer as we were leaving the enchanted forest where we had found temporary refuge.
She introduced herself as an ambassador to the humans for the imps who populate this place, and as a parting gift for our respectful attitude she offered to let us use a magical portal to travel.
We debated it, and I was not in favor, so here's why:
We'd have to leave our carts and most of our belongings behind.
I don't like being rushed into making a choice, it's usually a sign of a trap.
Are we in such a hurry to take the risk of traveling by magic, which we all know always comes at a cost?
But the majority has decided (Poll) and we're going to try the portal.
One last thing gave me the bug: the druidess recommended that we close our eyes when passing through the portal so as not to be dazzled.
As a precaution, I go ahead and ask @itharagaian to stand behind, holding my hand firmly, and we agree on a signal: if anything goes wrong, I squeeze my hand and he immediately pulls me back.
As I just poke my head through the portal, eyes wide open of course, I see a surreal landscape, it may be a coastline by the ocean, but certainly not on our planet or in our dimension.

LE JOURNAL DU VILLAGE:
Une magnifique druidesse aux cheveux roses nous a fait une proposition alors que nous quittions la forêt enchantée où nous avions trouvé un refuge temporaire.
Elle s'est présentée comme ambassadrice auprès des humains pour les diablotins qui peuplent ce lieu, en cadeau d'au revoir pour notre attitude respectueuse elle nous offre d'utiliser un portail magique pour voyager.
Nous en avons débattu et je n'étais pas favorable, voici pourquoi:
Nous charriots et la majeure partie de nos biens serait abandonnée.
Je n'aime pas qu'on me presse à faire un choix, en général c'est un signe de piège.
Sommes nous si pressés pour prendre le risque de voyager grace à la magie qui nous le savons tous a toujours un coût ?
Mais la majorité a tranché (Poll) et nous allons tenter le portail.
Une dernière chose m'a donné la puce à l'oreille, la druidesse nous a recommandé de fermer les yeux en passant le portail pour ne pas être éblouis.
Par précaution je passe devant en demandant à @itharagaian de se tenir derrière en me tenant fermement la main, et nous convenons d'un signal, en cas de problème, je serre ma main et il me tire immédiatement en arrière.
Alors que je passe juste la tête par le portail, les yeux grands ouverts bien sûr, je vois un paysage surréaliste, c'est peut être une côte au bord de l'océan, mais certainement pas sur notre planète ou dans notre dimension.
Je serre vivement la main et je me sens attiré en arrière par une forte traction, je suis de retour dans la forêt avec mes compagnons, et j'ai un mal de tête terrible.
J'entends un grognement de la part de la druidesse et j'ai juste le temps de la voir se transformer en diablotin de feu et s'éloigner précipitamment avant de m'évanouir.
