THE VILLAGE DIARY:
Our escape from the village to flee the zombie threat towards an island that would be safe from the Z epidemic almost led us to a sad fate: slavery.
We only owed it to luck and a cheerful DUO of characters we met along the way that we escaped, as they alerted us to the danger just in time.
We had to leave the main road that passes close to this town where a tyrant enslaves the region's populations to avoid taking any risks.
The path we took led us to a swamp, and while there's an upside to the fact that zombies hate water, there's no shortage of downsides, from mosquitoes to the risk of getting our carts stuck.
So we bypassed the swamp, keeping our sights set on the south.
The path took us into a very strange forest, where the atmosphere is very calm and has something magical and peaceful about it, with multicolored butterflies scattering among the trees and melodious animal calls.
But we got a big fright when we saw a creature that looked like a little devil she too was frightened and ran off.
A little later, it reappeared on the side of the path to observe us. It didn't seem at all hostile and its small size was reassuring, in fact several of us found it very cute.
Then we came across others, of a slightly different kind, but the same size, with a certain friendly je ne sais quoi.
I wonder how many we'll see on our way through this forest?

LE JOURNAL DU VILLAGE:
Notre fuite du village pour échapper à la menace des zombies et à destination d'une ile qui serait préservée de l'épidémie Z a bien failli nous entrainer vers un triste destin, l'esclavage.
Nous ne devons qu'à la chance et à un joyeux DUO de personnages que nous avons rencontré sur la route d'y avoir échappé, ils nous ont alertés du danger juste à temps.
Il a fallu quitter la grand route qui passe à proximité de cette ville où un tyran asservit les populations de la région afin de ne prendre aucun risque.
Le chemin que nous avons pris nous a conduit à un marais, et si il y a un bon côté du fait que les zombies détestent l'eau, le inconvénients ne manquent pas entre les moustiques et le risque d'enliser nos charriots.
Nous contournons donc ce marais, tout en gardant la direction du sud comme objectif.
Le chemin nous a fait pénétrer dans une forêt très étrange, l'ambiance y est très calme et a quelque chose de magique, de paisible, des papillons multicolores s'éparpillent entre les arbres et les cris d'animaux sont mélodieux.
Mais nous avons eu une grande frayeur en apercevant une créature qui ressemble à un petit diable, elle a eu peur elle aussi est s'est enfuie.
Un peu plus tard elle a réapparu sur le bord du chemin pour nous observer, elle ne semble pas du tout hostile et sa petite taille est rassurante, en fait plusieurs d'entre nous l'on trouvé très mignonne.
Puis nous en avons croisé d'autres, d'un genre un peu différent, mais de la même taille, avec ce je ne sais quoi de sympathique.
Je me demande combien nous allons en voir pendant la traversée de cette forêt ?
J'ai distribué quelques papiers que j'ai dans mes poches à ceux qui voudront les dessiner pour immortaliser cette rencontre.
Nous avons un sentiment de sécurité ici, difficile à expliquer, et nous sommes d'accord pour établir le campement dans la forêt ce soir.
