THE VILLAGE DIARY:
We spent a very pleasant night, lulled by the sound of the waves and refreshed by the sea air.
The sound of seagulls woke us in the morning, and we discovered that these fearless birds had not hesitated to make incursions into our camp to steal the food we had left lying around.
A lesson to be learned, given that we intend to set up our new village on an island!
The tide is out and we can access the old wreck, which was probably shipwrecked a very long time ago, given its condition.
We formed several groups to explore the galleon in search of the treasure hidden there according to our map.
The search was long and difficult, as the boat's structure is slippery and strewn with sharp-edged shells.
We found nothing in the upper part, but a small group went down into the hold, which was half-submerged, and there they finally found the treasure!
It was a large chest full of gold coins - at last, we were going to be rich and why not be able to buy our own boat.
But as they each took a coin in their hand to admire it, our 5 adventurers got the fright of their lives.
The wreck's hold was inhabited by a gigantic octopus, which sprang up from the bottom of the stagnant water and spread its impressive tentacles in the direction of our poor villagers.
They had no choice but to flee precipitately to the upper levels of the wreck, keeping only their gold coin in their hand, which only gives us 5 more coins.
But we'll be back at the next low tide with octopus-hunting spears - we really need this treasure!

LE JOURNAL DU VILLAGE:
Nous avons passé une nuit très agréable, bercés par le bruit des vagues et rafraichis par l'air marin.
Le chant des mouettes nous a réveillé sur le matin et nous avons découvert que ces oiseaux peu farouches n'avaient pas hésité à faire des incursions dans notre campement pour y voler la nourriture que nous avions laissé trainer.
Voilà une leçon à retenir, sachant que nous avons l'intention d'installer notre nouveau village sur une ile !
La marée est basse et nous pouvons accéder à la vieille épave qui a fait naufrage il y a probablement très longtemps vu son état.
Nous avons formé plusieurs groupes pour explorer le galion à la recherche d'un trésor qui y serait caché selon notre carte.
La fouille a été longue et difficile car la structure du bateau est glissante, parsemée de coquillages aux arrêtes coupantes.
Nous n'avons rien trouvé dans la partie supérieure, mais un petit groupe est descendu dans la cale qui était à moitié immergée et là ils ont enfin trouvé le trésor !
Il s'agissait d'un grand coffre rempli de pièces d'or, enfin, nous allions être riches et pourquoi pas pouvoir acheter notre propre bateau.
Mais alors qu'ils avaient pris chacun une pièce dans la main pour l'admirer, nos 5 aventuriers ont eu la peur de leur vie.
La cale de l'épave était habitée par une gigantesque pieuvre, elle a surgi du fond de l'eau stagnante et a déployé ses impressionnantes tentacules en direction de nos pauvres villageois.
Ils n'ont pas eu d'autre choix que fuir précipitamment vers les niveaux supérieurs de l'épave, en ne gardant que leur pièce d'or dans la main, ce qui ne nous fait que 5 pièces supplémentaires.
Mais nous reviendrons à la prochaine marée basse avec des épieux pour chasser la pieuvre, il nous faut vraiment ce trésor!
