I noticed this on my way to the neighboring village to stock up on sausages, and when I mentioned it at the inn, our cook was naturally very interested.
He knows a cherry cake recipe he'd love us to try, and he wouldn't mind making some jam too.
So he invites us to start picking before the birds do.
So we're off to pick cherries today.
