Alt text : Images are of an orange candle in a clear jar with a label that says "Pumpkin Vanilla". Other images are of the same candle at different angles showing the two very long wicks.
Yes!!!! It's pumpkin season. I love all things pumpkin-pumpkin pie, muffins, seeds , pumpkin spice coffees...all the things.
This is a candle we found at the local grocery store, on sale even. It is a soy blend candle and the label says it is made with essential oils. I am unfamiliar with the brand "Candle Essentials" It also says it is poured in the USA.
I haven't had it lit for long but I would say this candle has a medium-strong scent throw. It reminds me a lot of Yankee Candle and similar brands but for me is less harsh. I have many allergies and sometimes even the most natural of candles are too much.
I look forward to discovering how this candle will fill our home with fragrance. It smells very. much like a pumpkin spice latte without the coffee scent.
Notice the wicks. These are comically long. It is important to trim your wicks, but don't trim them down too far. I try to aim for just over a quarter inch. Trimming your wicks cuts down on the soot as well as helps the candle last longer. Longer wicks = faster burn time.
Happy Pumpkin Season!
