FIVE THINGS YOU MUST KNOW

GOD

He is the one and only creator of all things;all other beings are His creations. He is all-knowing, all-powerful, universal, untiring, unchanging ageless and timeless (Isa 40:28-29) He is the FATHER who is in Heaven. God is a Spirit who manifested in human form as the son and now fills everywhere as the Holy Spirit (John 1:1-5; 4:24). He is the father of all creations.
His thoughts, plans and actions are far beyond human comprehension (Isaiah 55:8,9; 1 Corinthians 2:9). He must be differentiated from the gods of religions and traditions which are fabrications' of the numerous interpretations or misinterpretations of this Almighty GOD (Psalm 96:5). Do you know God as God?

SIN

This is any evil human acts (words, thoughts deeds or omissions) that offend God by despising His person and or His laws. In the Bible they are grouped under pride, greed, lust, anger and even idleness (Gal 5:19-21; 1 John 2:16). The common denominator that makes any sin a sin is the act of
disobedience which prompts men to act contrary to God's simple order (Genesis 3:6; 1 John 5:17). The punishment for sin is death but the wonderful gift of God to those who repent is forgiveness which ushers such people into eternal life through Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23).
Do you have victory over the captivity of sin?

DEATH

This is a permanent cessation of all biological functions that sustain a living organism. It means the end of life but in the Bible it means separation from God because of sin (Genesis 2:17). Both the physical and eternal deaths are not natural but a consequence of disobedience (sin) (Genesis 2:17; Romans 6:23). Just as birth is, death is for every person in this world and the bitter truth is that one day we shall die. "as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this, the judgement" (Heb. 11:27). There is therefore an appointed day of death for everyone. How are you preparing?

LIFE

That act of "living" and showing the characteristics of being alive. This has two components: transient and eternal (Genesis 2:7).

This eternal life of God breathed into man became transient because of sin (Genesis 3:1-7).
From then, everyman born into this world has a beginning (birthday) and an end (death date). In between the physical birth and death. God expects all men to accept the free give of His original LIFE, the eternal life which we missed because of Adamic sin, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life (John 3:16). Unfortunately, this is what many do not know and some of those who claim to know have also introduced numerous interpretations and doctrinal colorations to it.
Eternal life is "the Father's life" given to believers through His son Jesus Christ. This is the true life and whoever has not this Son, has not this life at all (John 3:16, 36; 1 John 5:11-12). This is the life that is light and gives light/revelation to everyone that receives Him (John 1:4-5,9; 1 John 1:5). Outside and without this eternal component existing on earth is nothing but groping in vanity and self-deceit
(Romans 8:6). Do you have this eternal life?

FAITH

This is the force that connects man to the spiritual realm. It is the basic element for starting a relationship with God and His divine realm. Faith exposes the reality of God existence and also demystifies the apparent fictions surrounding
the supernatural world. It is by faith we get salvation into eternal life (Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 4:12). It is the firm foundation for everything that makes life worth living and the grip of what we cannot see (Heb 11:1). Men of faith are beyond the ordinary because they can create things out of nothing by the word of God. Jesus affirmed that except a mortal is introduce to the experience of true faith. He cannot understand spiritual things (John 3:3-8) and without it we cannot please God, no matter how hard we labour (Heb 11:1-6). Do you have true faith in God?

CONCLUSION

In summary, God created man in His own image and likeness but man disobeyed God, sinned and attracted the consequence of death in both realms to humanity. However, God does not wish that any of His children should die eternally and therefore provided a solution, Jesus Christ, (John 3:16-17). Now for everyone in this world, God provides a gap between birth and death so that a person can make a choice. The choice is between eternal life and eternal death and this life is only in the Saviour Jesus Christ… "And who does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:11-12). This we can only acquire by believing (faith) in the finished work of Christ on the cross. This is what God is providing for you as you read and reconsider THESE 5 THINGS THAT YOU MUST KNOW.

Dear friend, God your Father wants you to know Him who has power to deliver you from sin and death and to give you eternal and abundant life by faith.

If you are not yet born again, I plead with you to give your life to Jesus Christ today. For God's sake, please do not miss this great opportunity; choose life, choose Jesus Christ and live. (Deuteronomy 30:19; 1 John 5:12).
