🎇SUBJECT:
"HAVE YOU STARTED CHANGING YOUR MIND?"
📕TODAY'S TEXT:
To ask him, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we expect someone else?” Matthew 11:3.
🔑🔐KEY VERSE:
And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me (Matthew 11:6).
💞CENTRAL TRUTH:
Many believers have adjusted their stand with God because of life's pressing issues.
🖊️MAIN DISCOURSE:
Most people think that as soon as they become born again and begin a walk with God, every other thing will be a walk over.
Our text for today tells us about an unfortunate incident that took place while Jesus lived on earth.
The man who was the fore runner of our Lord Jesus Christ, the one who revealed His identity to the teeming multitude who came to be baptized, was held in prison.
When his condition became unbearable, he sent to ask Jesus if He was really the Messiah they (Jews) were expecting.
Has life's pressures made you begin to reevaluate your faith and trust in God?
Some believe that their challenges have overshadowed their God. As far as they are concerned, those troubles have become more visible than Him.
Many can no longer perceive God; but their situation is all they think about.
Refuse to allow any situation to change your determination to serve God faithfully, because one day that condition will pass.
Your problem is not bigger than your God, so never allow it to drive you away from your fellowship with Him.
The wind of life only comes to test how rooted you are in God.
🔥CALL TO SURRENDER:
"If you would like to give your life to Jesus, you can do so by saying this prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I come to you a sinner. I ask that You forgive my sins. I accept you into my heart as my Lord and personal saviour. Thank You for saving me, in Jesus' name. Amen."
🙏PRAYER:
Father, help me to stand firm on my resolve to serve You faithfully, regardless of the pressures of life, in Jesus' name. Amen.
